My... my dad isn't showing up for his hearing today... and um.. I'm not sure.. what hurts more.. that he doesn't call and doesn't want to see us.. or that we had to call his work to see if he even took time off...
I'm sitting in my room crying... My grandma was talking to my dad's mom and they were talking about how the last time either of them had seen him his eyes were just.. dead and blank. God.. I miss my dad and he's supposed to be showing up at the hearing tomorrow and I want to see him but at the same time I'm scared that if I see him I'm going to get too attached and then it'll fucking kill me when I'm rejected again..

I hate having to explain my depression... I've been depressed since I was 10. I've been happy every once in a while. But smiling doesnt come easily anymore, guys! Telling me to be happy or stop cutting is like telling a turtle to grow wings or the sun to turn green. Guys, it's damn near impossible! And I appreciate those that ask me if I want to talk to them... But talking doesn't help me. I wish it did. Thank you. -
