    Thanks. It was really hard, and even 6 years later, I still miss all the birds. They taught me so much.

    I can imagine, just because they're animals, doesn't make them any less special. I've lost a few cats over the years, being a big cat lover. And I don't forget them, I still love them. And some days, it's still hard.

    I was getting registered to vote. The lady laughed so hard, and told everyone else in the office what I said. Then, my mom made a FB post about it, and a friend of hers replied saying that the whole office was still laughing about it.

    This year, I've lost my two birds and my dog. I almost lost my best friend, and my sister lost her rabbit, guinea pig, and parakeet.

    I've lost many people and animals. I love them while they're here and mourn them when they're gone , but death is inevitable and I don't let it keep me from loving anyone.

    As of today, it's been 7 weeks since my dog died. To make things worse, my parrot, Jade, passed away this morning. Fly free, baby girl.
