Good moment to catch you here.
I'm Kao.
I've been roleplaying for quite a while, but always on and off. My main focus is improving my writing and exercise my imagination.
I will be changing this up soon, but for now it'll stay barebones.
Style
• I roleplay as F and third person. It's not absolutely set in stone, I'm okay with doing M for side characters, but I feel like it's not my strong suit, especially to act as my main character.
• I lean towards more literate posts, though I don't always manage to wake up my brain enough to live up to that. Despite it all, I always try to make my posts meaningful and allow the plot to progress.
• I don't think I can pinpoint the length of my replies. They vary in length and elaboration but again, I try to keep them meaningful. I also try to learn new grammar and vocabulary so you may catch me learning from my partners.
• I tend to prefer to roleplay in PM's.
• I don't mind the orthography and punctuation too much as long as I can understand what you're trying to say and the replies are elaborate.
• I love to plan ahead! I err by always making plans by myself and then play them out through the story but didn't usually add my partners. I want to change that and know what it feels to actually have a mutual understanding and a goal
Rp interests
• I'm not good at historic roleplay.
• Fandom wise I've never done, mainly because I don't keep up with most media. You may get luckier mentioning videogames though.
With that out of the way:
• I love fantasy. Medieval, at that. I enjoy the magic, the environment, the possibilities.
• Apocalyptic settings I enjoy, but I'm not sure I'd be able to keep one going for too long without discussing the plot frequently.
• Medieval fantasy.
• Fantasy in medieval times.
• Did I mention medieval fantasy?
As you can clearly see, my go to is sci-fi.
I like the possibilities that come with it, the difference in species, in kingdoms and power. I would really enjoy to build something up.
I tend to lace my stories with romance; If there is, I'm always looking for something slow, but plots with arranged marriages or convenience ones work well for me.
Sometimes I also like slice of life kind of roleplay, if it has an interesting twist to it.
Me?
Well I'm in my early 20's.
I'm just a girl pursuing software development on my own. (Which seems to be going surprisingly well.
I like to sing and dance (cliché I know) and I enjoy reading though I have fallen behind with that slightly lately. I like crocheting and exercising and there's not much more to me.
I dislike social media (eg Instagram, Tiktok) with a feverish passion, so all memes and internet stuff are out of my reach. (I don't touch social media, not even with a sharp stick.)
