GriffinsGodsandGears

A saint and a sinner
A poet and a warrior
She challenges the creators
And prays to fire.
Drums beat the words that run through her blood
As she sings the songs of war,
That the rotten first howled.
Don't date somebody that makes you feel like you need to hide your stuffed animals.

GriffinsGodsandGears' Rules of Roleplay
1. To begin, the obvious: No erotic content. It is of course a site rule, but I feel it may need to be said regardless. If anything sexual is to take place between two characters for the sake of plot development, it should be handled maturely and with grace. Take Steve and Diana from Wonder Woman. We all know something happened between them, and we know what that something is. But do we see it? Do we get a graphic description and all the details? No, because it's unnecessary. So if for the sake of the plot, two characters get "involved," let's keep it to a minimum.

2. Rape is a trigger for a lot of writers, including me. However, I know writing is a way to vent and express emotions that you may be unable to express in person. If you are going to make mention to rape, have a character with past experience of it, or plan to have it happen for the sake of the plot, I am okay with that. Just ask and warn me ahead of time.

3. I prefer to keep responses to 2-3 paragraphs long. I understand that roleplay can get a little slow sometimes but it's still no excuse for one liners. Even if the moment is slow, there should still be at least 3 sentences. It's not a one-and-done rule, but it's highly preferred.

4. Please understand that I'm usually fairly busy. If I disappear without explanation, I promise I will be back as soon as I can. I will try to keep random disappearances to a minimum, but I ask that you please not get angry with me if it happens.

5. I have no issue with cursing or same-sex pairings.
