I have an idea for a character but I'm having trouble finding inspiration for the visual aspects of her design. The basic summary is a girl who can pretty much start a party anywhere. Happy and fun-loving with the special ability to make music wherever she is as well as having some incredible dance moves. But, I can't figure out what species to make her. Or what color scheme to use for her.

My mom just came to the computer room to ask me how to set the TV in my room to actually watch TV. I don't know because I only use it for video games. She leaves to go try to figure it out and comes back a little while later to say that she and my dad couldn't figure it out and they left a bunch of stuff unplugged. Thanks guys...

Middle of the night, just finished watching Markiplier play some horror games with my sister and her friends. We were standing in the kitchen and my sister had her back turned to the stove, which has a vent above it. The sound of a distance train echoed down through that vent and scared her. I found it hilarious. A few minutes later, she was microwaving a sausage, with her back turned to the microwave. The sausage started whistling behind her and scared her again. Also hilarious. As she was hunched over next to me trying to recover, I just smiled at her and said "Same as the train?" She almost punched me in the crotch. Hilarious.
