Ecstatic Savant
Heyo! There's, uh, not much to say about me. I've been in tabletop gaming for some time now, so this is a natural fit for me. I've like to work on involved settings and worlds, so bear with me if I ramble a bit.
Interests? Drawing and video games, so really nothing too terribly original. Always willing to try new things, though!
I have two worlds I've been working on recently, detailed below:
The Plague In Shadows - The superstitions of the old world have passed away, and replacing it is the new age of fire, iron, and gilded steel. And with it came the tide of death and disease, an infection even unto the soul as vice and hedonism spread with every passing day. What's more, something darker prowls on the horizon, a creeping horror from times long since forgotten.
The Plague In Shadows is a dark Victorian/World War One fantasy world in which everything is generally terrible and things are threatening to get worse. More specifically, the continent of Anilure has progressed into a more modern society, bringing with it the vices so prevalent of the era. At the top of society, the wealthy elites spend obscene amounts of money on lavish parties and frivolous decoration, largely uncaring of the corrupting world around them. The poor live in squalid conditions and crime runs rampant across the ever-expanding cities in the world. What's more, terrible diseases spread among both the wealthy and the destitute, from the deadly syphilis and influenza to sicknesses of terrible, unknown origin. To compound all of this, the horrors of the old world still stalk the forests and hillsides of the continent, picking off unwary travelers and terrorizing small settlements. Life is short, usually sick, and generally not worth living. In other words, a perfect place to forge new stories.
