Cilo

Working on my writing skills--character voices, setting desc., etc.
I'm pretty easy-going and I'll happily join any rp that peaks my interest. I prefer more casual roles in contrast to ones that are more serious/dreamy, but I can definitely write in a more professional or reserved tone. In general just looking to have a good time and get way too emotionally invested in a character that I'm wearing and doesn't (likely shouldn't) exist.

WRITING SAMPLE

The 6:00 train bell woke me with a start. I instinctively jolted upright and watched the tram lights grow through the tunnel. I glanced around, avoiding the anxious gazes of the early kind of businessmen. Constantly shifting and tapping, always waiting for something. A few cringed as the deafening screech of metal against metal cut through the tiled passageway. The tram shifted to a halt.

Have you ever noticed how everything seems to go silent during those few seconds of anticipation? Every time you turn off the lights or see someone standing in the rain. Like the world is holding its breath, waiting for something to happen. Maybe it's subtle. Maybe you think I'm crazy, but--the stillness is there, always watching. And it has no intention of stopping.

I stood up and dusted myself off. My head rushed, and the businessmen did the same. I almost fell before I had a chance to grab onto the bench designed specifically not to be slept on. Once the feeling wore off, I put my hands in my pockets and headed up the chronically damp stairs of the subway. I was hit with the bright light of midday just as the tram left the station.
