Do you ever want to scream at people on cop shows? This show just had a cop get suspended by the Captain for not having a warrant when questioning a suspect for murder. Which is dumb because


1) The cop and the suspect randomly met on the street; the suspect was not detained, arrested, or placed into custody in any way. Without custody, the cop shouldn't have even been required to read Miranda, much less have a warrant for a STREET CONVERSATION.


2) What states require a warrant for questioning a suspect who was originally a witness? What the frick? No.


3) The Captain had previously banned the 2 MC cops from investigating further after some rando confessed to the murder. Um, no. IRL if it's a murder investigation or any investigation, actually, you continue to investigate further in order to build a case for trial. That's like COP 101. I'm not a cop but I JUST took a college class on this. TRUST ME.


4) The entire part of this episode where the MC Cops found a death threat against the victim and analyzed the handwriting and then were wondering how to get a sample of the suspect's handwriting to compare without a warrant. Um, well, your SUSPECT is a witness. Call him in to get a signed witness statement and compare from there. GD this ain't rocket surgery. I'm just some kid and I know this my gush.

I got peppermint bark (which I ate some of and melted down to make hot peppermint milk-- think hot chocolate, but with peppermint), a new sweater (YASS), new shoes (DOUBLE YASS), 25 bucks in Google play money (WHICH I USED TO BUY SIMS 3 AND LONGSTORY OMG) and 40 bucks so I am gonna see Sing tomorrow AND get at least 1 new book.
