I'd be willing to believe in the possibility of natural multiplicity as a subset to the DID community if only because I'm pretty sure certain physical illnesses as a child can do the same or similar  things to the brain as the physical and/or emotional trauma said to trigger dissociative identity disorder. Also, because while studies show a correlation between childhood trauma and DID, I have yet to see one that accurately shows that 100% of patients diagnosed with DID report themselves as victims of trauma, and, even if there were, I also understand that correlation is not causation. Furthermore, the amount of times scientists have had a vast majority consensus on something only to find out later they were wrong is numerous, so "this is what scientists think right now" is not good enough for me without significant proof. I'm also not in the habit of putting down the identities of others.


I will respect other opinions on this so long as they are respectful to those suffering both DID and natural multiplicity. Be kind or get deleted. That is your warning.
