Arcana_Maxima
My name is Jackson "Jacky" Shin, a roleplayer of 13 years who is wanting to ease back into Roleplay with the help of everyone around the forums. I was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome in primary school and I started roleplaying back in then with some friends with D&D, and have since then expanded my horizons to be across a lot of different genres of RP. Because of my Aspergers, it is very hard for me to remember a lot of different names, places etc unless they are common ones. I can easily "sink" into how I would like any character to act, but I mostly stick with Magic-type characters because I find that blowing up things is more fun with magic (blame Mythbusters for this!)
I mostly stick to the Fantasy and Steampunk genres for roleplay, but I am still learning much more different genres alongside them.
I am willing to answer any questions that someone has about my journey from starting out in Roleplay, to how my characters are the way they are.
I am also writing a sort of introductory book to roleplay on my Wattpad (see "Others" link), it is currently a work in progress as there is A LOT that I need to dull-down (so to speak) for helping those getting into Roleplay.
Arcana: "So we're going to a dungeon to free the captured princess from the hundreds of demons and god-knows what all so that we can have enough money to buy better clothes, identify all the many items that I have in one of my pocket dimensions AND to have you get the King to give you his permission to marry his soon-to-be-freed daughter?"
Lock "Logia" Giagi: "You know what Arcana... (insert 300+ lines of dialogue of why they are doing this)"
Arcana: "Sorry, what? I thought we were a team that had me blow up everything in the dungeon and grab all the loot and treasure in there! Not some princess-rescue team..."
