Welp I'm feeling a bit insane/creative (they are associated with each other when it comes to me)
Time for Rogue-kun and Sting-kun fangirling
I paused outside the door, wondering if what I was doing was okay. The boys said it was, sure, but I was still nervous. Maybe I should've brought my brother along, or at least Lucy or Erza. I needed someone to calm my nerves.
Oh, well. Here goes, I thought, pushing open the wooden door.
"WELCOME TO SABERTOOTH, AKARI!!!!!" the wizards all shouted at me. I blinked, confused, and looked around. All the members of the Sabertooth guild had strung up a banner with the same message they had screamed, and the guild hall was decorated as if to host a party.
"Wh-what's all this? Where are Sting and Rogue?" I stammered, understandably confused.
My question was answered a moment later when two blurs attacked me in a hug. "Riri! You came!" the White Dragon exclaimed, pulling back to grin at me. His blue eyes gleamed in the light streaming in from outside.
"Of course I did. What made you think I wouldn't?"
"Well, we were jerks to you when we reunited. We figured you'd try to get us back for that," Rogue replied, his black hair covering one of his eyes. I blushed, realizing he was probably right, as I had considered it. But, in my determination to reconcile our relationship, I had decided to come.
The Twin Dragons of Sabertooth squeezed my hands and smiled at me. I murmured, "You didn't have to do all this for me."
"Silly Riri, of course we had to!" Sting just smiled and ruffled my hair, damn him. He was at least a head taller than I was, just like Rogue was.
"We're your best friends," the Shadow Dragon finished, giving me a rare smile. Frosch peeked over his shoulder and waved to me, and Lector appeared on Sting's shoulder.
As I stood with the two Exceeds and the two Dragon Slayers, I smiled and laughed, wondering if maybe my home wasn't just limited to Fairy Tail.
Just came back from the best murder mystery party thing EVER. I am so hyped and really want to host a party like that someday. It was actually an official online thing that plans mystery parties, it seems like. It was really awesome and complicated, but it ran late because the person died too late. xD
I'm finally back! I woke up later than I hoped and had to get out the door to get to band rehearsal. After that, I marched in a parade, and then ate lunch. We got back on the bus and went to a college campus for a competition (which we won in our division because we were the only ones--HELL YEAH). We got home later than we hoped because we it took them a fucking half hour to get their shit together so we could get rolling.
I got back on here to discover that I'm all of a sudden one of @LennyTheMemeGod's best friends and 80 other notifs that had to do with status updates. (Good job Lenny for catching up on your shitposting.) So now I'm tired but also wanna read my book because
TEDDY CUTTING IS BACK AND HE'S GOING TO SAVE THE DAY OAO
Today I was writing a little thing of a fanfic cuz I was bored and my OC was really deep and profound
She said to another character, who was just paralyzed in both legs, "You don't need to stand as tall as the rest of us. Even flightless birds learn how to touch the sky."
My characters say more meaningful things than I do ;-;
Glancing around, all I can see was a white glow. Is this heaven? Purgatory? Is this a dream, or am I actually dead?
Well, I suppose I could've had a worse life. Sure, the love of my life died without knowing how I felt about her, and my wife left my daughter and I alone, but that was okay. My baby girl's all grown up and married with three beautiful children. I couldn't be more proud.
But now I'm starting to get worried. Will I be stuck roaming this place forever? Just as I think this, a large gate appears in the distance. It is slate gray with wrought iron, resembling the gates of old castles.
Someone is waiting in the entrance. It's a girl in a long, flowing white dress, with a clear halo hovering above her head. Her waist-length, chestnut brown hair falls perfectly around her shoulders, and--
Hold on a second.
Amber.
I squint, trying to confirm, and when she turns around, I'm met with dark blue eyes that I have memorized to this day.
It's Amber.
Amber, who died at age eighteen.
Amber, who taught me how to trust people again.
Amber, the girl I named my daughter after.
She's here. With me.
"Kenny," she called, using the nickname I haven't heard her voice say in seventy years.
Without answering her, I run toward her, and with a smirk, she does the same. She jumps and flies into my arms, and we stand there, hugging and crying, happy to be reunited.
"I missed you, Kenny," she whispers.
"Same here," I breath, burying my face in her hair.
After a few moments, she pulls away. Her gaze darts over my face, taking in every detail. I look down and realize that I'm my nineteen-year-old self again, instead of eighty-nine.
"You know," she began, "you're late. Sammy and April got here a couple months ago."
"I know," I murmured, too happy to care about who died before me.
Amber gives me a bright, knowing smile. "C'mon, Kenny." She starts to drag me along a path I hadn't noticed before.
"Where are we going?"
"Where do you think?" she responds, her stunning smile still lighting up the world around her. Looking back at me, she finishes, "We're going home."
The depressingness of my self-inserted OCs in my fanfics:
Attack on Titan: Watched her best friend (plus their family) and her own family get eaten by Titans and then her boyfriend beat her up for wanting to join the military, only for him to be eaten himself during the Trost incident.
Blue Exorcist: Sold her soul to Satan to save her sick boyfriend, whom she found out cheated on her for months. After that, she became Satan's servant, and thus, a demon.
Fairy Tail: Exiled from hometown after accused of attacking her boyfriend (who, again, had been cheating on her for months). She came back from Tenrou to find out he, along with her parents were dead.
Pandora Hearts: Has a fatal illness and is technically supposed to be dead, but is kept alive by her contract with her Chain. Probably will die...
Ouran High School Host Club: Mother died. S'all I got.
Sword Art Online: Played SAO with mother and sister, who both died in the game/real life. Woke up to find herself alone.
Tokyo Ghoul: Comes home one day to see her parents being eaten by a ghoul. Somehow makes it out of there alive.
