    My real question is why people would ask you your ethnicity. It doesn't make sense. Pro tip from an American who's never had to deal with this but saw a post on tumblr. When someone asks rudely "what are you?" Just reply with a nervous "haha human... Like you!" And walk away a certain distance so they can still hear you and stage whisper into your watch "the humans are on to me. Time to execute plan E."

    There's a way to ask, "Hey, where are you from?" that's the same as asking "Hey, what town were you born in?" And then there's the "What are you?" question.

    i actually think cara's quite pretty but a lot of the models end up looking very very similar. i'm not trying to bash anyone's rp interests, i just don't like the trope that i described bc it just comes off as lazy more than anything.

    Lazy, yeah. And not everyone who RPs is a writer, really-- or has a lot of practice, either. But I agree with you re:this particular instance. I, as an older female, tend to play older males and I'd like to think they're fairly deep, well-rounded individuals. :)
