  • Hi! Tell me about your witches!
I have a sheet for Gavenia right here

    Okay... That is something...
How did the necromancer become an undead? Something went wrong while bringing some corpses back to life? Or did she become an undead first, then learned to be a necromancer so she could make friends for herself?
The same questions go for the half demon.
    Do they have personalities?

Rebecca is probably the most cheerful of the three. She's an absolute fashionista, and doesn't have a nasty bone in her body, though she can be a bit dim-witted. Necromancy is something she studied well before she died, and had a knack for. She was unfortunate enough to get in an accident that would have been fatal in a few more minutes, and with the last of her strength, stored her soul in a necklace she was wearing.

Ivy is rather cold and aloof, but once you get to know her, she's very loyal. She struggles to keep her dark side under control, but doesn't lose herself often. She's also a serious athlete. Her mother summoned the Lord of Envy Leviathan for a daughter in exchange for her body and soul, to be given up when the girl turned 16. Her relationship with her father is somewhat strained, but she tries.

Saen is rather shy. Being able to pry into other's innermost secrets leaves her with a deep need for her own privacy. She's also the one who's probably going to be the hardest to convince to get into investigations. As a warning, she is cold-blooded, so if the setting is winter, she probably won't be operating a 100%- though she does have some tricks to deal with the worst of it.

Since Gavenia isn't really the most sociable person ever, we should probably go for Rebecca or Ivy. I love the contrasts in Rebecca, but a half demon is also very tempting. I like how Ivy is serious about being an athlete, because Gavenia is not very ambitious about anything, and it might be interesting to pair them up because of that.
Do you have anything you don't want to do in role plays?
What kind of setting do you prefer?
I usually go for the idea that the supernatural community is hidden from the non-supernaturals, but they still have some organization. But they do blend into normal society, not like in Harry Potter where the witches don't know how a television works. And I went with the idea that if you have talent for magic, you can be trained. Gavenia was identified as a witch at a young age, and she was trained to control her magic, and to do spells. She was trained to use her magic in her detective work.
