    Necessity4Fun Necessity4Fun Cats can have a dairy allergy as well as lactose intolerance. :P The allergy is usually caused by a protein found in milk, not the lack of lactase in their system.

    Well, not all adult cats have a dairy allergy or are lactose intolerant, but it's very possible they could be one, or both. It's something I'd try to talk to a vet about before giving a cat milk. Necessity4Fun Necessity4Fun
