Anyone have advice on how to work a good power cap into lore for very open ended rps or should I just beat people into submission until they're being reasonable?

You know those power Trip cringe rps? Well if you have experience with them, you know them. Anyway my brain is telling me to find one and indulge in the cringe for like 10 minutes before immediate regretting my decision. Some one punch my brain and stop it lol
You never think about how specialized some designs are, until you're like me who has to redesign a double action-out the front mechanism to trigger when activating the slide from the same direction. (Yes I know that made zero sense)
