I am the High King but don't take that too seriously. I love The Magicians and let me tell you that The High King definitely fits and am one of the chilliest people you will ever me. I am 24 and have been roleplaying for over 10 years.

You can call me whatever you like. HighKing, King, Elliot, E... I really don't mind anything.

I am interested in MxM roleplays and lean towards the more romantic side of things. I often post between 3 and 20 paragraphs. It honestly depends on the situation and the reply given to me.

My favorite genres are adventure and sci-fi, and I'm semi-lit to literate when it comes to writing.

Hey, figured I'd introduce myself here. I'm also posting this intro on another site (it's my stock intro, these things take a while to come up with!) so if you see this repeated elsewhere, it's not spam, I promise, I'm just posting in two forums. But, only two!

You can call me Gothy, I'm in my mid-twenties and I'm applying to study literature very soon after a bit of a stop-start beginning to my twenties, as well as being a hobbyist games developer/pixel artist on the side. If that sort of thing interests you, drop me a line privately and I'll be happy to share. I love horror, cooking, spiders, guinea pigs, goth rock, kpop, b movies and all sorts of weird, unconnected things. I'm an eclectic mix. As a slightly personal aside, I have several chronic illnesses which impact my energy levels so I really only roleplay with two or three people at a time, and reply maybe once or twice a week at best; I really can't be more active than that, and a lot of what I do [making games, looking after myself/family/animals, existing...] takes a lot of time!

I mentioned I love guinea pigs, and I have four of them! Their names are Angus, Shani, Claire and Zach. I have a lot of pictures and love to share, so, again, if that floats your boat hit me up! I also have cats, and the same again applies there. I basically love animals, all animals.

In terms of roleplaying I've now been at it since I was about 12, which, boy, makes me feel old as heck. I've done all sorts of genres but tend to veer towards action, supernatural or fantasy-inspired, sci-fi settings and horror, but with all sorts of plays on the aforementioned genres. I really am not a huge fan of anthro or furry roleplays, or realistic/realism oriented settings. I'm quite verbose and very literate, and can usually write anywhere from 500 to 2000 words depending on what you give me, how inspired I am, and so on. I'm also really only interested in one on one roleplays because I'm often too busy for group ones - I don't have time to check in on forums multiple times a day to keep up with those. And, finally, I decided to join RPGNation because I was looking for a new place to roleplay - all my old partners dried up, and the old websites I used to go to (mostly virtual pet websites, lol) stopped being good sources of roleplay partners.

I also use Kik messenger to roleplay with a group of friends, but I found out that it’s going to be shut down soon so I’ve been looking for alternatives and testing a few apps and sites. So far I like this one the most so I think I’ll tell my friends to migrate here
