Tigrex F_SQ (Unshaded)

The first of many monster fusions to be submitted into this album. This monster is fused from three monsters from the Monster Hunter series: Tigrex, Seltas Queen, and Seltas. The image itself is meant to be used in a later installment of a roleplay of mine. Though the main monster shown is Tigrex, the traits it shares with the Neopterons it was mixed with include: Tank-like chitinous armor, use and manipulation of pheromones, two prehensile scythes on the creature's tail, and lastly two large, scythe-like appendages; one located on the outside of each arm. Due to such heavy plating, use of flight was expected to be impossible and as such, the wing pieces were removed and replaced with the Seltas' large claws. Due to not being able to fly, the Tigrex hybrid utilizes it's claws to burrow into the ground to safely change areas. Unlike the normal Tigrex however, this hybrid has adapted a long-range elemental attack granted from the Seltas Queen; her high-velocity 'spit' ball for lack of a better word. It should also be known that this Tigrex still does feature a damaging roar, but can also make use of the Seltas' scythe-like claws when doing rotational attacks, and interestingly enough can use its pheromones to attract other Seltas or even other Seltas Queen to the area.

Other features that exist but are not shown due to lack of animation are the parted, lower jaw and extendable scythes. The lower jaw of the Tigrex F_SQ is made from two maws which open and close horizontally. The bottom jaw also has the ability to extend slightly, allowing for a little more range on bites as well as tearing chunks out of other large monsters if the top jaw is already plunged in. As for the extendable scythes, there is a slit located between each of the two scythes which hide an additional growth of the same nature as the scythes. These growths can overlap onto the and hinge onto them, in a sense clicking into place to allow for ease of use as well as extension of range. The range of the appendages located on Tigrex F_SQ's arms can double, allowing it to make more use out of its swiping attacks as well as its rotational spins.
