An aerial view of John's Griffin form imposed on a background featuring his blue Owl eye, with his human form in the foreground.
From foreground to back:
- Jonathan in his bartending uniform. He always wears the black vest on white, and rolls up his sleeves when he's working the bar. He comes to work with the little top hat, but forever seems to misplace the damn thing halfway through (but his coworkers manage to find it for the next shift).
- A Canadian Lynx and Arctic Owl hybrid, from the air he looks stocky, but don't be fooled; that's just his insanely thick Lynx fur covering his lean feline body. The tail, unusually long for a Lynx, carries massive feathers that help in steering. It allows for sharp turns and more dexterity in the air. The wings take on the shape of an Owl's, a slotted high-lift build essential for most birds of prey. The feathers are white with black stripes near the tips and carry a sheen of glittering frost that refract light, especially under the moonlight, making the white feathers look silver. Hence the name Silverwing.
- Although they appear blue, the huge Owl eyes can take on the appearance of smoky quartz when light shines into them. They turn a solid white when enraged, especially when using a cryogenic blast attack, for his body turns colder than it can physically handle for a period of time.
