Mother of Elise and Sky, and the highest ranking member of the Scarfala Mage’s Guild, Olivia dedicated her life to researching the creation of the ultimate magic weapon - One that could change form on command, from a staff to a sword, or a spear, and many other types of weapons. She had originally planned to use this weapon herself once it was completed, handing down her Nagi-staff, a staff with a quarter-arch on one end that generates a magical blade, to her daughter Sky. This plan never had a chance, however, as once the project neared completion, Scarfala was attacked by Monsters. Standing with her husband and the village’s small defense force, she fought to protect her home, but was ultimately defeated, her Nagi-staff battered and left behind to be found by Sky in the aftermath.
There was a small hope for Olivia yet, however. After the battle had ceased, she managed to hold onto the last threads of her life, when she was approached by a strange figure. This girl introduced herself as a servant of Repith, the Spirit Dragon, and she had come to collect the many souls that were lost in the attack. Realizing this Reaper was a master of the forbidden art of Spirit Magic, Olivia begged her for one last favor. Not wanting to leave this world with her project so close to completion, she asked the Reaper to take her soul and infuse it into the weapon so at least she could oversee its completion once someone found it. With the condition that if anything should happen to Olivia’s new vessel, she would have to pass into whatever afterlife awaited her, the Reaper agreed to bond her soul to the object. There she would wait for over two years before her daughter Sky would stumble upon her project’s hiding place...
