The 10th Generation God of Death. Described as a pompous git by Levi. has lived for about 280 years, and has been working as the God of Death for 70, apprenticing for a decade or so. While his name is officially Ludwig, it seems that he is intent on editing this article to read Ludhwig, so there had to be compromises made. He tries not to trouble himself with the trifles of the living, and focuses on governing his own realm, but he does seem to have a lot of trouble handling the more rowdy bunches of his employees. However, he would rather let them get out of hand and have them escape to the world of the living, relying on Laevateinn to deal with it, much to her chagrin. Due to his laziness, he has really just left the world to its devices, and encourages Laevateinn to do her job properly, because an influx of dead people means stacks and stacks of paperwork for him, and he hates that. He really doesn't like the God of War.
He wields the power of darkness, though he is quick to remind others that dark does not equal to evil. In fact, as an antithesis to light, it somehow features the same power as its rival, showcasing immense power that its partner hosts.
Lud(h)wig is 6 feet tall in his human form. He has the silkiest hair amongst the Gods.
