@CHIMNY Suprisingly this tank is just as good as a M4A1 sherman, only with a little better armor and a better gun. The gun is a 70mm Ansaldo cannone fit to fight the American Sherman, German Panzer 3 and 4, Russian T-34 or KV-1&2, and the British Cromwell, Crusader, or Cruiser.

@Miriana The Lazy It should but War gaming thinks the Italian line up would be too weak even though most of Italy's project tanks could match the strength of or even beat German Tanks going from the PZ 5 to the Tiger II, and the Italians did have plans to build a large, super heavy tank that could match any Allied medium or heavy tanks attempting to invade Italy at the time, but the plans were cancelled due to the fear of both using up resources and being captured to make an even better heavy tank that could destroy it but not be destroyed. So the plans were hidden away or the Germans took/destroyed them though there were a few clues of it found because in the 1960's the Italians found pictures and remains of the prototype of this tank. It was nicknamed "Steel Mystery" then the parts were taken into studies, but with the Cold war and everything being used to keep Italy out of a depression and keep it protected from any attempted attacks, the Italian government had thrown most of it's money into rebuilding Italy, and defending it. So trying to restored the large tank or atleast keeps it's metal parts around was a no-go. So they scraped it but took the photos with them. Anyway i got off topic, the Super Heavy was modeled off a Char B-1 chassis with a few more layers of armor and a second large turret which would hold the largest gun which would have been a 85MM gun (or 85/39 cannone da ansaldo) mounted on the tank, then you had a frontal Case-made turret with a 60MM gun and beside it would have been a Breda-38M or Breda Mod31 machine gun. Finally the Armor would have had a common maximum around it's frontal area of 118-120MM thick and the sides would have been 84-88MM thick. The name of such a beast would have been "Carro Armato SP Modello A/41" if you type that in you most likely will not find what i am talking about, because the tank has never been named and was never really cared about, so they just let it fade in history.
