Oh my god, yes.

I love the idea!

I would like to claim...The boy in The Boy Who Cried Wolf.

Name: Gabriela "Gabby" Garcia :tongue::oops:

Age: "I'm five! That's really close to being a grown up."

Gender: "What? I'm a girl, silly."

Character: Gretel (from Hansel and Gretel) "Huh?"

Backstory: "I have one brother...and...and...I can count to one hundred! 1...2..3...uh..5...90..100! Ever since those bad people said we killed that lady, Holden made us leave our old town. I still miss my friends...but I know my brother is always right. If something happens to him...I'll be all alone... That's why I never leave his side! We sleep outside and Holden has been teaching me how to read and add up numbers. He says I'm very smart, and he calls me his princess. I guess he forgets I've been wearing the same dirty dress for months, and my hair is always in knots... I never knew my mommy or daddy. Holden says our daddy killed our mommy and tried to kill him...I'm glad I don't know our dad. Holden says that's why we had to leave our house and live in the forest. And one time we found this house of candy, and I ate it even though Holden said not, too. And the lady came out and....never mind...I'm not supposed to talk about that."

Personality: "I try to be nice to everyone because I don't like seeing people sad. My brother is really sad sometimes...like at night time when he thinks I'm asleep. Sometimes he cries... I like animals a lot, and sometimes stray kitties sleep with us! I get angry when my brother does not tell me secrets and when he makes me comb my hair with the comb he stole last week. I am usually happy, though, I think.... I mean I don't really cry a lot. Holden says crying shows that you're weak, so I taught myself not to do it in front of people. I'm used to people being rude to us, so it does not really upset me much. I'm good at acting sad and weak for food, though. I'm also good at lying, Holden says so too. He usually sends me to act lost or hurt while he steals us sweet candy or a warm blanket. Holden says I'm not gullible like other little kids. I know my around this new town already, and I am very good at remembering shortcuts."

Appearance: "I'm not pretty. I know I'm an ugly girl, but I don't mind that much. My hair is really dark like the night, so the dirt really stands out when I don't bathe in a while. It touches my belly button when it’s wet. My eyes are blue like Holden's. He calls them "baby blue," but I have never seen a blue baby before. My skin is really dirty, but it's naturally pretty dark, too. Holden says being dark is bad, but I think people are just mean because I am dirty. I wish I was tall! I can barely reach the doorbells when we are begging for food. Holden says it is good to be small, so I can hide, but I hate it. I'm real' tiny from not eating... and because we don't have money to go anywhere but by walking. That's okay, I like the outdoors. My nose is too big, but Holden says it is a good size. When I get bored...or scared I pick at my eyelashes, so now I don't really have any. I can't help it. When I get embarrassed, my cheeks turn peppermint red really fast. I can look okay if I braid my hair and wash my face, but I don't like to be clean that much. Holden says I always look beautiful, but one time... he had to cut my face with his knife. There was a bad guy looking for pretty little girls, so he said he had to do it... I think I was ugly enough without it because I probably look like my mommy because she was dark. Why would my daddy kill a pretty woman?"

Other: "I can speak Spanish...Holden says that's all he knew when he was my age....and a little bit of Elf. My best friend is my rag doll, Loulou."

Name: Holden Garcia:)

Age: "I'm fifteen...almost sixteen, actually."

Gender: "Male..."

Character you are : Hansel (from Hansel and Gretel) "Wait what?"

Backstory: "Rumors can bring a lot of hell. If this is going in any record...my sister and I had no part in killing that witch. Our father was an alcoholic, and out mother was a beautiful baker. They owned their own, very successful bakery, and I grew up having a decent amount of wealth. My dad used to beat us, but I never let him lay a finger on Gabriela. We should have left way earlier; I kept trying to convince my mother, but she was afraid. Her excuse was that she wouldn't be able to understand other people and make a living to provide for us, but I tried desperately to tell her I would take care of her and Gabby. One day I came home from school...and Gabby was crying in her room. She was too young to understand...I didn't hear anyone else, and I was concerned...but when I walked into the kitchen.... Anyways, I had to get Gabby out of their before.... We...we lived in the forest for a while...probably two years and I played with Gabby. I guess she didn't really understand that we were never going home. I love seeing her so happy, it makes the world okay... it makes life worth living. I knew better than to let her walk up to that house. I had never seen it, I should have known better... She died. That old woman. But she was a witch, not a kind creature. And we did not kill her. Honestly. But who would believe a roughed-up, skinny, Hispanic teenage boy and his toddler sister? Anyways, we had to leave again. Now, we're here. I'm trying to raise Gabriela to be independent and wise. I have put her through so many hard moments in her life...I know it isn't fair for her...but I hope she knows I would do anything for her. She is my reason for working so hard. I used to regret going against the law, but now, it is our lifestyle."

Personality: "I do not have any trust or fate in anyone but my baby sister. I know that is immature, but I have yet to meet a half-decent person besides Gabby. I typically avoid talking and confronting anyone... I guess you can call it shy... I call it "using my time wisely." I'm pretty intelligent, but I've worked hard to become so, and, believe me, I don't know everything. The world is still confusing even if you know seven languages and how to break into any home without a noise. My sister, she's the cute, outgoing one. I'm her protector. I would describe myself as awkward... I enjoy art-related activities, and I read and reread anything I can get my hands on. I like solving solutions to problems thrown in front of me, and I love being praised by my little princess. I love being her hero, it's the best feeling."

Appearance: "I am an average height, I believe. I stand just less than six feet, but my weight is quite embarrassing. Even with decent-sized leg and arm muscles, I feel like a stick. I have been trying to eat more fats. My basic appearance mirrors Gabriela's; we both have black hair and bright blue eyes and the same natural, year-round tan. My hair is out-grown and covers my left eye, no matter how many times I push it back. I have never had an issue with acne, I think this is because I'm often in the sun. I wear an outfit of many odd layers of scrap-material shirts and a couple of vests. My pants flood terribly, showing my leg hair the same hue as my head. I don't think I look that great. I don't look at my reflection often...."

Other: "I don't have anything to say. That was a lot more than I planned on sharing."

Name Gilgrim Baznorf

Age: 39

Gender: Male

Character you are (Think outside the box here. Disney movies aren’t the only fairytales that exist.): Rumpelstilitskin

Backstory (not the basic tale, elaborate):

In order to make himself appear more important, a miller lies to a king, telling him that his daughter can spin straw into gold. The king calls for the girl, shuts her in a tower room filled with straw and a spinning wheel, and demands that she spin the straw into gold by morning or he will cut off her head (other versions have the king threatening to lock her up in a dungeon forever). She has given up all hope until an imp-like creature appears in the room and spins the straw into gold for her in return for her necklace. When the king takes the girl on the next morning to a larger room filled with straw to repeat the feat, the imp spins in return for the girl's ring. On the third day, when the girl has been taken to an even larger room with straw and told by the king that he will marry her if she can fill this room with gold or kill her if she cannot, the girl has nothing left with which to pay the strange creature. He extracts from her a promise that her firstborn child will be given to him, and spins the room full of gold a final time.

The king keeps his promise to marry the miller's daughter, but when their first child is born, the imp returns to claim his payment: "Now give me what you promised." The now-queen offers him all the wealth she has if she may keep the child. The imp has no interest in her riches, but finally consents to give up his claim to the child if the queen is able to guess his name within three days. Her many guesses over the first two days fail, but before the final night, her messenger comes across the imp's remote mountain cottage and watches, unseen, as the imp hops about his fire and sings. In his song's lyrics, "tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow, I'll go to the king's house, nobody knows my name, I'm called Rumpelstiltskin", he reveals his name.

Personality (please be descriptive!): Gilgrim is the type of person to learn from his mistakes, and to know when enough is enough. He happily serves under the Snow queen. However plenty of his old habits die hard. One being he enjoys solitude, and the calm which can sometimes be difficult to come by within Everafter. Another one of his old habits is his lust for knowledge. To Gilgrim knowledge was the best form of power, and he enjoys studying, and reading. He uses his deep knowledge of most situations, and items to weasel into, and out of most situations. His final old habit is his urge to always work, to be a "Workaholic" as most call it. If the Queen needed something researched or done Gilgrim would not waste a minute of time making sure he understood every angle, and possible outcome. With this being said Gilgrim is more of the of a do it yourself type of person.

Appearance:<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2014_02/dwarf_with_pipe9510Pop.jpg.e208541eb13c292e132f177d24977e01.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="12744" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2014_02/dwarf_with_pipe9510Pop.jpg.e208541eb13c292e132f177d24977e01.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

4'9 185lbs, with dark brown eyes.

Other: He keeps a very elaborately etched golden pipe with him at all time, with a small bag of tobacco. He also carries a flask filled with brandy.

500x789_5258_Kuzynki_2d_portrait_painting_illustration_book_girl_woman_picture_image_digital_art.jpg

Name: Cecilia

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Character you are: Cecilia from The Golden Key (variants include The Golden Ball, Feher Anna, Seven Curses, and many others)

Backstory: Cecilia grew up a normal child with one brother, one sister, and two happily married parents. They weren't very rich, but they all cared for each other very much. When Cecilia was sixteen, she was taken to be hanged at the gallows - no rhyme or reason behind this. Many said it was due to fornication, others due to stealing, some even said she was held as a ransom. On the day she was to be executed, her brother came. She asked him, "Did you bring any silver?" And he replied, "No. I came to see you be hanged." Her sister had showed, and she asked her, "Did you bring any gold?" And she replied, "No, I came to see you be hanged." She saw her mother and asked, "Did you trade any animals?" And she replied, "No, I came to see you be hanged." Finally, her father had appeared, and she asked him, "Have you brought anything for my freedom?" And he replied, "No, I came to see you be hanged." Her whole family being there to watch her die made Cecilia angry, and finally, a young man came forth to her. He said, "I brought no silver or gold, but I've paid your fee." And so she was let go. She searched for him for months, but never found him. She did not know his name, nor where he came from. It was like he didn't exist after that. She returned to her family, but found it hard to continue living with them after what had happened. She brought up on multiple occasions that they had everything they needed to free her, but they didn't. All she wanted to know was why. So instead of staying there, she left, and she journeys from village to village, saving females and males alike from punishments that are unjust, secretly hoping she might stumble across her savior.

Personality: She is a vengeful girl, due to her experience, and she doesn't take kindly to liars. She is, however, very caring of those close to her. Not having a good relationship with her family, she tries to make relationships with others who have had a difficult time in their life, people who need guidance and someone to rely on. She is very religious, and thanks God every day for the young man who saved her life, believing it was perhaps Jesus in disguise - she never met with him again. She is modest and true; a lie has never parted from her lips. She is a die-hard romantic, and she is always searching for the one to capture her heart (though she's sure the one who saved her already did). She can be harsh in her words, but never in her actions. She is a pacifistic young girl with a fiery attitude if you catch her at the right moment.

Appearance: Cecilia is a slender girl who isn't too shapely, but her figure is obviously feminine. She has full lips and rounded cheeks with high cheekbones. Her hair is a dark brown color, often appearing black, and her eyes are of a similar shade.

Other: She seldom speaks with her family, and has cut off almost all communication with them.

Name: Rudy Calbex

Age: Fifteen

Gender: Male

Character you are: The boy in The Boy Who Cried Wolf.

Backstory:

Once upon a time, Rudy Calbex was a shepherd.

His mother had abandoned him long ago, after his birth. So, Rudy grew up with Mr. Calbex, who owned a lot of land and was in the agriculture and trade business. Though Mr. Calbex was his legal guardian, their relationship was distant. Rudy discovered the loneliness of the spacious and empty Calbex manor, so he spent most of his time with work. He liked to ease his boredom with the various duties assigned to him. He passed his childhood in isolation, mostly tending to the sheep.

As he reached his fourteenth birthday, Rudy began to see the shadows of wolves lurking in the outskirts of the forest, near his home. When he told people of these wolves, they dismissed them off as visions. They said he was just a poor boy with nothing left to lose. Just a silly, silly boy.

How wrong they were.

One day, as the sun was setting, and Rudy was getting ready to go back home, he lingered too close to the edges of the forest. The next thing he knew, he was standing face to face with a towering wolf. When he cried for help, no one came.

The wolf made a deal with the boy. If Rudy wanted to live, he had to bring the wolves food. The wolves were very cunning, and they did not want to be known or seen by the villagers. They wanted someone to do the dirty work for them. They granted strength and stealth to Rudy.

From then on, Rudy now goes out in the dead of night, axe in one hand, sack in the other, and slaughters the villagers’ sheep.

And all the villagers have been driven into a panic, and have all started "crying wolf."

Because who would’ve thought the notorious wolf was just a silly boy?

Personality:

Around people, Rudy is soft-spoken, quiet and polite. He comes off as a stoic, but well-mannered individual. He seems like a pushover, who people easily dismiss and overlook. Rudy is very emotionally withdrawn, he often has problems expressing his feelings, and explaining his emotions in words. Though he is introverted, he is not a shy or timid person. Rudy is brave, smart, observant, and intuitive.

Because of the deal with the wolves, Rudy has a skewed moral compass, which conflicts with his personality. He is naturally gentle, but he murders animals like it’s a sport. He wants to open up, but he is forced to remain secretive. He wishes he was honest, but he is a habitual liar. He is sweet, but he seems cold. He craves affection, but he’s so secluded that it makes it difficult for people to give it to him.

Everything is just one big conflict.

Other:

The white wolf is the one that approached him.

Whoop I finally got my character done! *throws party* So without further ado, here is your queen :3

Name: Queen Eira (pronounced i-rah) Pembroke

Age: Nineteen

Gender: Female

Character you are: The snow queen (from the Hans Christian Andersen fairytale of the same name)

Backstory: Once upon a time, there was a troll. Some called him the devil. He was in possession of a mirror which would show only ugliness and horror in anything it reflected. He planned to show the mirror to humans, to make hate where love existed. However, that mirror shattered before he could use it, the pieces smaller than a grain of sand. The pieces fell to Earth, slipping into the eyes of humans and causing them to look at everything with fear and loathing. A tiny piece, not enough to do anything serious, fell into one of Eira’s eyes. She began to look at others around her with fear, she became extremely paranoid. The only place she could see beauty was in the snow that fell, the snow that she had control over. Things intensified when people discovered her power. She was called a monster, and forced to flee to the mountains of Everafter, the kingdom which she created. She lived, and continues to live in extreme paranoia, never letting anyone get close enough to touch her or hurt her.

Personality: Eira is extremely paranoid of others and has a tendency to shut out others, even when she needs help. Getting hurt or betrayed terrifies her, and after how she was treated previously, she refuses to see beauty in mankind. She enjoys solitude, and over the years has gotten accustomed to being alone. She spends her time walking on the mountains, exploring nature, and playing with her powers. When it comes to ruling, she does it when she feels it necessary. She believes strongly in self government, but when something occurs in Everafter that she doesn’t like, she’s firm. Despite her delight in seclusion, she is extremely loyal to her kingdom because it’s her refuge. She will do anything to protect it, even risk her life.

Appearance:

Name : Merlin

Age: God knows, not that he wants to

Gender: male

Character you are: A wizard.

Backstory : He may be a wizard, however, he does not want his talents to be known, as people would surely come looking for him, either to abuse his powers, or to kill him, for they feared his powers. He appears as a young boy in his twenties, from a simple background. He once served the great king Arthur himself, and he used his powers to save him many times, although Arthur himself did not realise that it was Merlin doing these things, until the very end, when Arthur was was finally killed. He dreams of the day when Arthur will rise again, when Albion's need is greatest.

He now works as a serving boy in an inn, biding the time until Arthur is able to return.

Personality: He is immensely loyal, and is extremely determined. He'd rather die for a friend than have a friend die for him. Not since Arthur died. Never again, he tells himself. This determination often shows as stubbornness, as he hates losing even something like an argument.

Nowadays, he tends to keep quiet and to himself, trying not to use his powers too much, for fear he'll be discovered.

Name: Florence Bonnett

Age: Fifteen

Gender: Female

Character: Little Red Riding Hood

Backstory: Florence grew up living with her mother in a little town off in the country. Her grandmother lived off in the forest as a medicine maker so Florence rarely saw her. Every week Florence's mother would send her to bring grandmother a basket of wine and sweets. One day it was time to bring her grandmother the basket and Florence planned to take the same route she always took but she got distracted by a field of flowers.

"I'll just pick a few and bring them to grandmother as an extra treat." Florence told herself but she ended up gathering more than expected and by the time she got back on track it was late. Florence arrived at her grandmothers house and she could barely see anything in front of herself. When she got closer Florence noticed that the door was opened and there was a deathly stench in the air. Florence walked into the house and went into her grandmothers bedroom and was greeted with the sight of both her grandmother and mother lying on the floor. Their throats had deep gashes and bite and claw marks were all over their bodies. Their clothes were tattered and blood was everywhere. Since then Florence has hated wolves and vowed to hunt them down.

We've started this, so if you want to go ahead, there's already some stuff up under Role Play. I'm actually really excited so check it out :3
