Appearance Notes: He is 5'6" tall and usually wears t-shirts with blue jeans and hi-tops or black cowboy boots. If it's cold he'll wear a black leather jacket. In fit shape, but he doesn't look overly athletic. He is fairly strong for his size having worked hard labor for years, and dense bones.
Personality: He is somewhat of a recluse, although he does like the company of friends, he feels that seeking them feels artificial. He will admit that he has a certain sense of apathy towards most things that don't involve his friends but would still sacrifice his life for what he believes is right. He normally refuses to fight, but if he sees no other option he will give his all to it. At heart he is usually happy and carefree, but gets depressed every once in a while.he loves learning and knowledge.
Ability: Advanced Healing Factor
Limitations: While Jacob knows he can heal extremely fast he doesn't know exactly how fast so a bullet to the head or his skull being crushed could possibly kill him. Because of his advanced healing, his bones are very dense bones that do not allow him the ability to swim or float, and his healing factor will only delay a death by drowning not prevent it. If a bone heals in the wrong position he must re-brake it and set it right again, which is not uncommon.
Drawbacks: His power tends to freak most people out, so he has trouble with getting to know people. He throws surprisingly heavy punches and lift more due to his dense skeleton, but this also makes him weigh more, prevents swimming, and prevents him from ever running as fast as someone else with his frame and training.
Preferred Tactic: He prefers not to fight, but if he must, he is used to the manner associated with bar fights, which generally has little rules besides don't kill your opponent.
Background: He was born in a small Texan town in the U.S.A. and has lived in a foster home since his mother died from his birth, working hard on a ranch for a living. Often he was shunned and mocked for being different, and sometimes his short height. Growing up he was taught to avoid getting into fights, and was bullied without retaliation. He didn't make many friends, but one of the few he did was mocked, forcing him to finally stand up. He punched one of the bullies so hard that he broke his jaw. He scared his then friend and frightened all but one of the bullies, whom threw a rock the size of a man's foot at his head. The rock struck his head with such a force that it should have killed an average person, but only cracked Jacob's skull. When he got up from a small pool of blood, with no scar or any evidence of damage. All of the teens freaked out and ran, reporting what happened. It was barely a year later that his foster parents began to not understand him and sent him to the academy. He had a dislike for his life before, and doesn't expect much of this new one, but maybe he can find his place.
