Stars and Space - Just what goes on in the crew of a starship called Stormrider?

Basically, I wanted to do a roleplay set on a starship, but not within the bounds of a fandom, awesome though many of them are.
There exists, roaming through space, a military vessel called the Stormrider. It operates mostly autonomously, responding to calls for help at the captain's discretion. The galaxy's many star nations are currently at peace, and thus, Stormrider has not been called into major conflict in the service of the Arcturus Star Union Fleet.
