Noble Wars

SirFlabberghaspy

Mandalorian Warrior and Skald.
It is the year 2843 AGW, and an uneasy peace rests in the land of Nirntha. There has always been war in the lands, and between all of the kingdoms, but their rulers have reached a conclusion. One last war, one to alter history itself.

The house that wins this war, wins the entire continent of Nirntha.

However, distracted by war, the Houses are blind to the threat that lies to the south, as ships slam into the beaches of the smaller country of Galia.

A country cut off from the rest of the world, and completely shrouded in silence within their large forests. The perfect place to build an army.

Nirntha: The world's super continent, Nirntha carries the greatest kingdoms of the world, and is diverse in wildlife and environment. Most of Nirntha is covered in fertile plains, vast mountains, rivers, and gargantuan forests.

-Key Locations on Nirntha-

The Black Forest:

The Black Forest surrounds all of Nirntha's kingdoms, and prevents invaders from getting in, and brave souls from getting out. They're usually patrolled by the Black Watch, a group of knights from every kingdom that slay the monsters within and protect special travelers, either by order or for a special fee. Monsters within the Black Forest are very diverse, the most common being a large bi-pedal tentacle monstrosity called Musks

Forest of Nirn:

The Forest of Nirn is sometimes called the Rainbow Forest, due to its large diversity of plants and animals, and the colors of them being as diverse as themselves. The Forest of Nirn can be fraught with danger, but that is only in the deeper forests, where it is much more fungal-influenced and dark. Travelers are rather safe if they stick to the roads, but different kinds of creatures tend to roam near the roads as well, and generally mess with any passer-bys.

The Nirn Tree:

The Nirn Tree itself rests upon a Mountain Range, in the center of Nirntha, simply named as apart of the tree. The tree's roots grow and wrap around these Mountains, and people have built roads upon the roots so that passage is much easier. Cities and small towns rest along the Nirn Tree, and it's juices within give as much life as water, and are rumored to heal extraordinarily when mixed with water. The Nirn Tree is said to be the Goddess of Love and Life, Nirnia, after she had grown tired of her brothers and sisters quarreling and decided to become closer with mortals, becoming the Nirn Tree. Another rumor is that those who visit the very top of the Nirn Tree will receive a gift, a personal visit from Nirnia, and will be given great youth.

The Warp Gate:

The Warp Gate is a large, mysterious gate that contains an ethereal substance that looks sort of like a large, teal-tinted window, but is much more gaseous. It was once used as a personal device by the legendary Archmagi Xavier Balladoras, but he had died. It's location died with him, and it is rumored that if you think of a place as you enter the Warp Gate, you will find yourself there in an instant.

Labyrinth:

The Labyrinth is a gigantic maze located below the Nirn Tree, shaded by it's large roots. It is filled with many perils, and is said to be a test made for ancient demi-gods by the gods themselves. No mortal has ever escaped from the Labyrinth alive, as history would tell, and the Labyrinth itself is as large as any capital city. They say the Labyrinth itself is filled with many great treasures, and that the center carries the portal out of the Labyrinth, one that acts like the Warp Gate.

Castle Drak'thul:

Castle Drak'thul belongs to one race, the Dragons, and their minions. Only the greatest of mortals are allowed to visit Drak'thul, particularly by receiving an invitation by the Dragon King himself. The powerful being has only involved himself in serious global affairs, or any situation that interests him and his personal goals. Castle Drak'thul rests on an island just off of the shores of House Lovette's kingdom.

-Land-

(All Lands have diverse environments, but these are the most common of each House.)

House Lovette:

The land of House Lovette is mostly hilly, fertile, and extremely rich in rivers. It can be very foggy in the winter, and extremely cold in the winter too. The grass in House Lovette's land has learned hwo to survive the cold, though, and the animals and plants are also very adaptable. However, when the land is not hilly and rocky, it is probably a very bright-green swamp.

House Thorin:

House Thorin's land is rather filled with dangerous predators and is extremely cold during the nights, and extremely hot during the day. Frost builds and melts on the land in just a day and night, and large lakes have filled the mountain's valleys because of this. These mountains surround House Thorin, and are guarded by the Thoric Brotherhood, a band of knights that hunt and kill dangerous animals that lurk along the borders and roads. However, within the mountains, large cities and towns thrive on the minerals within, and the gryphons that rest on top of the mountains are used as trading animals and war-mounts.

House Evelra:

House Evelra possesses the most ocean-territory out of all of the other nations, but their land is not at all neglected, either. House Evelra live on top of large, floating, magical islands that each have a water fall, one that reverses gravity so that people and boats can move along it. Each island has at least three cities and a castle, while the land below is extremely wild. The land beneath the islands are great territory for predators, adventurers, and projects. The land is known as the Evelran Jungle, and is filled with small tree-villages. Mass amounts of iron-wood is traded from House Evelra, as the trees are as hard as iron, and are extremely flexible. A good material for almost anything.
