(Open Roleplay)
Hi, I'm kind of new to this site. However, I've been role-playing for years on various sites.
I have an idea for a roleplay, and in need of a dedicated partner.
Back story:
A couple in their early twenties is living in L.A. They had started dating when she was sixteen, and he was twenty. She's from a high-middle class family. Asher spent her afternoons, watching her younger siblings at a local diner where they met. He's tattooed head to toe, long dark hair, in a band, smokes, and every parents worst nightmare.
Basically, they were the perfect couple (except for her parents hating him), until she got pregnant. He freaked out and left for a few days, and came back ready to take on the challenge. However, her parents kicked her out, and he lived with his grandmother- so with no where else to go, they took off for L.A.with his band. For the duration of her pregnancy, they lived out of his car; they got by with the band playing small shows at dive bars and her waiting tables at a retro diner.
Their relationship was rocky to say the least. They flipped between being cuddly and happy, and fighting and crying. With him being in the hardcore music scene and the stress of bringing a baby into the world while living in a car drove him to drugs and drinking.
The week leading to her going into labor, they fought constantly. The drugs made him much more cruel, he began saying things like he didn't even want a kid. It was really wearing down her confidence and psyche. The night she went to labor, she was alone and scared. It was effortless effort by trying to call him several times. She broke down and called her mom. Her parents came down and stayed with her during the birth of their first grandchild. However, immediately after having the baby, her mother started trying to convince her to give the baby up for adoption. Her mother told her she wasn't ready to be a mother, and how they couldn't afford the child if they were living in a car and working part time.
Being so highly emotional, and believing he truly didn't want the baby, she agreed. The next day, as the social worker was taking the baby boy away, her boyfriend came in. It destroyed him to see a stranger carry away his baby for good, and it destroyed them.
The guilt and void made her suicidal. One of his band mates caught her trying to slit her wrists behind the restaurant she worked at. Still I'm love her, her boyfriend ran to help her. She was hysterical about wanting to die, and he felt like he just couldn't lose her. Trying to numb her pain, he introduced her to morphine. They got back together, but was a rollercoaster of drugs, sex, and violence.
Present day:
They live in an open studio apartment with a loft bedroom. She still waitresses, and he is still struggling to make it in the music industry. He cheats all the time, they both stay high. She struggles with depression and money. Its as if they are addicted to each other, and hate each other at the same time as being madly in love.

5'3, curvy but weight fluctuates to skinny when heavy on drugs, olive skin, dark hair, warm brown eyes.
Personality: Janet is an affectionate, sweet, shy girl when she is being herself- however, sometimes her boyfriend can bring out the worst in her; a violent, hateful self that she doesn't even know. She has a highly addictive personality, when she tries something and likes it, she gets addicted instantly. For example, when they got back together after losing their son, she got a tattoo for her boyfriend, and that lead to her getting most of her body covered in tattoos. Same with the morphine, she became addicted to the numbness it provided. She loves animals and all fluffy things. Her favorite color is purple, although the only color of clothing she owns is black.
History: Her mother is a Cuban immigrant, who married her Caucasian father. He is a successful businessman, leading a small chain of outdoors stores. His wife is a proud Cuban, who named their first daughter Jaquinda Mariana (she goes by Jackie) So when they had Janet, he demanded to have say in her name.
When Jackie left for college, it left young Janet to care for her little siblings, Angel and Erwin. They were both rather little when she was a teenager, so it was a task to watch them while her parents were at work.
Jackie is now a model, having inherited dark skin from her mother and height from her father, all men drool over her- whereas Janet is shy and really rather pale. It always gave her confidence issues with how gorgeous her older sister was.
Random Facts: She's allergic to Cumin. Her mother calls her "Janette" and it drives her nuts. She speaks Spanish, but never uses it. Wants, secretly, to be a mother but feels as though she has burned that bridge with her boyfriend. Also wants to marry him, but he clearly fears commitment.
