WEATHER FORECAST:

Today weather forecast is gonna be wet and cold! Better have an umbrella and have a warm coat on or you may freeze off your butts! Thank you for listening in on today's weather forecast! Come back tomorrow to see the next new of our friendly weather!

__________________

In the cold of the nights, a young boy sat under the shelter of a little shop's hood, his hair damped from running in the rain. His clothing was very light with just a plain navy cardigan over a white shirt and some jeans. His glasses were fogged and his worn black converses were dirtied in mud. He looked so cold, trembling and his breathing heavy as a cloud of his breath came out every few seconds. His arms was wrapped around his knees as he desperately tried to preserve all the body heat he had left in him. He truly was cold in the rainy night, his stomach hurting since he haven't ate for the past few days and he was exhausted, many things coming into mind, memories of why he was here in the first place.

The rain came down harshly and the cold lingered around him, stealing away his warm body heat he held, smacking him in the face to give it up. The moon and the stars were covered by the blanket of dark clouds looming over him and the only light source he had was the streetlights. He didn't know what time it was but it seemed pretty late, all the shops closed except for the convenience stores and everything was still. The only friend he had with him was the sound of the rain and his dreadful mind crying at him for his stupidity.

-Sorry if this is suckie XP I didn't know what to post-

Gabriel was out for a late, evening walk when rain fell from the sky. Not that he didn't expect it; these grey, malicious clouds could be seen from miles away. The blond zipped up his white jacket and lifted his large umbrella, using both hands to open it. A loud Flop sound echoed into the streets, the fabric of the useful tool revealing all sorts of bright and lively colors; blue, red, green, yellow... Gabriel sure wouldn't go unoticed. The rain was heavy, but at least there wasn't any strong wind, otherwise he wouldn't even have dared to step outside tonight. The male followed the sidewalk and made sure not to get too close to water puddles, thinking that getting soaked to the bones in such a cold night wouldn't be much of a good idea. He whistled nonchalantly, observing his surroundings as birds kept hiding under the leaves of the trees, shops gradually closed one by one and cars quickly passed by without a single care for the people outside at this hour.

What could go wrong?

He looked down at his feet and admired his black shoes with a smile, glad that they were water-proof. Oh, how he hated soaked socks! Rainy sure wasn't his favorite weather, but he could handle it. An umbrella would do the job... Unless the wind would break and send it flying, but that wouldn't happen. He made sure that wouldn't happen... Not tonight, for the least. When Gabriel raised his head, his body froze and he ceased his whistling, noticing a dark figure in the distance. It seemed like this person was curled up against a wall, desperatly trying to hide from the those big water droplets. It was an unnusual thing, for the blond always took the same path around the same hour and the streets would always be empty, or almost empty... Maybe someone became homeless? Maybe someone needed help? He made few guesses before carefully making his way to the stranger, hoping it wasn't any kind of drug dealer, psychopath or murderer. As he approached, Gabriel concluded that it was either a teenager or a very young man. He couldn't tell, due to his arms wrapped around his knees and his posture giving a vulnerable impression. When he reached a reasonable distance, the male crouched in front of him and placed his umbrella beside them.

"
What are you doing out here at this hour, and this horrible weather? You look terrible," Gabriel said, raising an eyebrow and keeping his voice low, as if he didn't want to startle the boy.

Did it take too long? Is it good?

The rain continued to pound on the hood of the shop where the boy laid in, his head was stuffed in his legs so he didn't noticed that there was a colorful umbrella not far from where he was. He didn't even hear the sound of whistles because of the rain, the loud pitter patter sounds censored anything outside. Taking a hold of his sleeves, he tried to pull his legs closer, shivering more until suddenly he was being sheltered under the colorful umbrella, the sight of white covered his vision and a soft voice called out to him, asking him with questions that he himself was asking. He couldn't bring himself to look hm in the eye, scared and terrified who this person was.

He was a stranger, someone who just randomly came out of no where and was starting to ask him questions that he didn't know what to say. He couldn't tell this guy the real reason why he was here and clenched at his sleeves, trying his best to scoot away from him as much as possible but there was no place he could run to. All escape was blacked by this guy and he had no choice but to submit to him, his eyes darted away from looking into the other male's eyes, he felt ashamed and his pride already destroyed. He couldn't say much to him or mostly, he didn't want to say anything and only kept quiet.

"H-Hey, don't freak out! I... I'm sorry, okay? I din't mean it. You don't look terrible, I swear," he told him, blue eyes wide and backing away to leave him some space, but keeping the umbrella close so he wouldn't get soaked the time he was here. "Look... I want to help. I mean no harm. It's just... I don't like the sight of someone freezing under the rain, you know? It makes me sad..." Gabriel trailed off, biting his lower lip and watching the male tremble in front of him. "I'm a stranger. You're a stranger. We're strangers. I'm too kind and you could take advantage of me if that's what you're into. I understand that you don't trust me and it's okay if you won't speak to me, I can't force you. If you need somewhere to stay, just for the night, I can at least offer you that, but If you want to stay here..." he gestured to his umbrella. "I can leave you this. You don't seem to like water at all," the blonde chuckled, feeling his knees getting weaker under him as his crouching position was getting pretty uncomfortable. His jeans were damp and his legs were starting to freeze from the temperature. "I can't guess, so you'll have to tell me. Being sheltered under my roof is a better idea, just saying. You could clear your mind of... Anything bothering you, I don't know..." Gabriel shook his head at his incompetence. "It'll break my heart knowing someone is freezing out there and I couldn't do anything about it."

The way the man tried to sooth Kou's uneasiness was weird and made Kou only want to get further away from the guy but he was trying hard and he seemed friendly, Kou staring up at him with curious sky-blue eyes. This guy was surely weird but he was funny, Kou letting out a soft giggle but stop when the guy also offer for him some shelter, Kou surprised that this guy was even kind enough to let a complete stranger who he just find on the side of the road and just inviting him in his own personal life. No one he knew was like this kind of guy and he was... interested in this offer but he didn't want to be selfish nor rude to intrude and hesitated on his answer. He was scared, he never liked taking people's offer so lightly but he did need somewhere to stay and it was pretty cold outside. The guy said he would let him have the umbrella if he chose to stay but the umbrella wouldn't help keep him warm.

Biting gently on his bottom lip, Kou looked up at the man and nodded slowly,"
I-i don't mind." Kou whispered, more like mumbled his words out making it hard to be heard for anyone to hear. Kou felt bad at his decision but he didn't have a choice, his legs were already cold stiff and if he were to stay out any longer, he may as well die in the cold alone with no one to know of his death except maybe the shop owner of this shop. Kou didn't want that to happen and the only option was to accept this offer from this kind but strange man.

-Sorry! I kinda got distracted >.<'-

"Ah, good! I was really worried for a moment there. I mean, you could have frozen to death if you refused. That would have been silly of you," he told him with a nervous chuckle, standing up on his feet and keeping his umbrella over the other's head with one hand, using the other to help him up if he ever needed some support. "My name's Gabriel, by the way... Yeah, like the angel. I've had enough of this joke already..." The blond carefully examined the other, wondering if he would even manage to walk all the way back home with him. "I won't ask for yours. I wouldn't want you to run away and get lost somewhere with the creeps lurking into the night. Maybe I'm a creep myself, but there's a borderline between kind and creepy..." Gabriel said, shrugging and starting to walk with the smaller male. "Stay on the sidewalk and keep close... If you want to, I mean, you can do whatever you want. Your thing, not mine... Do I speak too much? You must be thinking; what a weirdo. I regret my decision. And I understand! Heh, it's as if I'm treating you like my old cat Theo. I would talk to him about nothing and everything during hours long. Sometimes he fell asleep... Ah, I must be boring... He passed away. Probably died of boredom. Good ol' companion. I shall enever forget him," he said, jokingly bringing a hand to his chest, but quickly placing it back next to the side of his body. "You don't need to listen to me rambling, but you know what? I'll keep on talking, 'cause that's the only thing I'm good at, except working with computers and all that shiz. You can tell me to shut up, too." Gabriel kept leading him to his home, whilst... Talking, talking and talking.

Kou stared as the man got up from his uncomfortable crouching position and kept the umbrella over Kou's head to shield him from the rain. Kou didn't know what to do since the man continue to speak, talking about his name who Kou now knows as Gabriel and giving warnings, advices and anything else that came into his mind. Kou really didn't understand what was up with this guy but at least he got the memo that Kou though of him as a weirdo but he didn't regret his decision... well a bit but he didn't hate the guy. Gabriel was just being friendly in a very talkative way but Kou didn't mind, it made the walk to his home not awkward than it is walking in silence and Kou didn't like talking much so hearing the guy rambling on about stuff made Kou happy but he didn't show it, refraining himself from smiling by biting his bottom lip, his usual habits.

Then the guy spoke about his cat, Theo, and how he usually did this kind of thing, chatting for hours with his cat who can't even talk. Tilting his head slightly, Kou just listened to him and nodded every now and then, listening to everything he had to say. To be honest, Kou didn't mind his chatterbox mouth, talking and talking about random things. This guy was surely unusual and someone Kou would never understand but he find that this guy was also a unique guy.

After listening to the guy talk, Kou started to examined his appearance. Blonde locks that are bright as the sun, beautiful deep blue, a handsome figure, his body appearance was slim but toned a bit, and his voice was cute. Regaining his conscious, Kou blushed at what he was doing and looked away, embarrassed that he was actually checking out the guy,"
What was I thinking?" Kou scolded himself, feeling his cheeks burn in heat, luckily, it was dark out so his blush couldn't be seen or so he hoped.

The male became quiet after a while, finally out of things to say... He could still kid' around, but now wasn't the time; he had to focus and lead this boy to his own, beloved home. His gaze often met the black haired boy, examining his aodrable features and making sure he wasn't too sad or exhausted. Gabriel really hoped he wasn't being any kind of burden. He forced him into agreeing... Or didn't he? The sidewalk became thinner and thinner as they left the entrance of the city, where small shops would often sell clothes or old items. This boy was lucky to even have been found by a kind man like Gabriel. He never went to the central city; too noisy and dangerous, especially at times like these.

The sidewalk ended and they finally reached the suburban area, where small yet welcoming houses were lined up one after the other at both sides of the streets. Gabriel was looking for one street in particular, though;
Camelot. That was his street's name. Not that he chose it. His house was simply located there. The male would have preferred a more kick-ass name like Spades or The Street (which he found ironic), but instead... He got this. Not that he'd complain. The neighbours were never there and it was awfully quiet... Too quiet. This silence was one out of many reasons why he brought Theo here.

This cat was old and sick, but he would always,
always take care of it. He couldn't just leave him! Theo had been present for a good part of his childhood. Expensive pills, specific cat food, poop out of the litter... None of that was a bother. That is, until a veterinarian told him it would be best if Theo was put to sleep. Poor Gabriel had his mind tormented for a whole week until he followed the advices of his friends and agreed to this solution. Theo wouldn't suffer anymore; he had to let him go, and he did...

The blond shook his head at the memories. This was such a downer. He sighed through his nostrils, unexpectedly taking a turn and briefly glancing at his red car, verifying if it was still resting on the asphalt of the driveway. Warm light escaped from the windows, slowly bathing the males into some sort of warmth. Gabriel's place looked neat from the outside. He spent a lot of time on the decoration, especially the flowers, having nothing else to do during his summer. "
Here we are..." he spoke, voice having lost a bit of its earlier enthusiast. The male unlocked the front door and went in first, letting the other walk in as well and closing the door behind them. Inside was nice, too, furnitures matching with the walls' and floor's color. "This is my place. Don't steal or break anything and it should be fine. Make yourself home. You can go everywhere. I have nothing to hide from anyone." Gabriel took his shoes and jacket off, opening the wooden wardrobe to place the uneeded layers of clothing in. "Are you hungry? Don't worry. As you can see, sharing doesn't bother me at all," he told the blue eyed boy, turning around and smiling at him.

The conversation slowly creased, the sound of pitter patter only filled in the silence between them. The conversation wasn't much, it was mostly one sided with Gabriel doing all the talking. The walk wasn't awkward... much but it was pleasant, Kou enjoying the company he had at least. The feeling that someone was with him was good enough, feeling a bit warm to be shelter under the umbrella close to Gabriel, the feeling of his body heat creeping to Kou's side. Their surrounding was changing bit by bit, few shops being seen and the sight of houses formed. The sidewalk also grew thinner almost like they were walking on a thread instead between the road and the wet grass.

Looking up, there was a green sign that hung over their head, the given name of the street, Camelot. It was a typical name to call a street and Kou didn't see anything interesting really on calling a street a name when it wasn't even a human, it would have been much easier if they just called it just a street as it is known as but people had their reasons. Hearing the soft sound of Gabriel sighing, Kou turned to look at the man, worry a bit why he was sighing. Sighing meant that the person was sad and it seemed that Gabriel was a bit down under the weather. Kou could intrude in on his personal problems but he didn't have that close connection with the guy, only knowing his name and Kou haven't even given his own identify yet so it would be rude to do such a thing.

The silence continued until they turned a corner into a driveway of a home, a red car sat in front of it,"
This must be his house." Kou thought, his conclusion correct as Gabriel unlocked the door and welcomed him into the warm home with less of his cheerful tone, already giving away that he was pretty gloom. Inside was nothing out of the ordinary for Kou, he expected the house to be well kept, decorations filled the rooms and the hue of the furnitures had no difference from the rooms inside, matching colors perfectly.

"
Don't steal or break anything and it should be fine. Make yourself home. You can go everywhere. I have nothing to hide from anyone."

The way he spoke to him made Kou feel offended, to be known as if he was some irresponsible person but Gabriel had his reasons, one being that they were strangers after all and he did find Kou on the street so it was pretty understandable that he would say this but Kou still took it to heart, silently giving Gabriel a nod,"
Thank you Gabriel." Kou said, a bit softly almost like a whisper.

"
Are you hungry? Don't worry. As you can see, sharing doesn't bother me at all."

Kou perked up when Gabriel spoke about food, about to answer when his stomach started to answer for him, grumbling for food to fill it up. Kou's pale white cheeks burst with a bright pink, looking down to the ground in shame of his rudeness,"
Y-yes." Kou whispered out almost as if he was mumbling his words, the "yes" so soft to even hear but it was loud enough in the quiet home for Gabriel to at least hear his answer.

He placed the colorful umbrella down so the water left could trickle away and dry off, observing the boy for any physical reply, since he could barely hear his soft, meek voice. The male raised an eyebrow when the boy's stomach growled, at first feeling a bit perplexed, but then laughing, gesturing for the black haired boy to follow him into the kitchen. "Funny how you remind me of a cat," he admitted, stepping onto the cold tiles and walking up to his fridge. An empty bowl rested on the floor. Maybe Gabriel haven't found time to put it away... Not even a few weeks ago, he saw himself filling it with cat food in the morning, but then emptying it when he remembered Theo wasn't here anymore. The bag eventually became empty, and that's when everything became a bit more... Different than usual.

The brunette moved a few things around, searching for anything yummy a stranger he found on the streets would eat. Carrots? No... Beer? Hehe, poor thing. Oh? "
I've got chicken! I can put it in the microwave or something. Is that fine with you?" he asked, grabbing and placing the plate on the large counter next to him. "I guess water could be nice too, right? To drink, I mean. I'm sure you've had your dose today. Now that I think about it, are you feeling okay? I can fetch you a towel and a blanket in the meanwhile. You're soaked wet, see," he pointed at the water trails he left behind him. "I could lend you some clothes, too, but I'm pretty sure they'd be too big."

Slipping off his already soaked shoes that were covered in mud, Kou took a step onto the wooden floor with his barefoot since his socks were also soaked. The feeling of the warm floor made Kou relax but when Gabriel commented on him reminding him of his cat, Kou eeling as if he was being classified as if he was an animal than a human being to this man. Sulking a bit, Kou obeyed Gabriel as he gestured him to follow to what he believed to be the kitchen since the place had a little dining table along with all the kitchen supplies needed. Once he took a step into the kitchen, the cold tiles sent shivers up to Kou's spine, shaking at the touch,"So cold." Kou mumbled trying to ignore the feeling of the tiles and follow after Gabriel into the kitchen. The fresh new surrounding of being able to enter in a house once more was a great feeling, to have a roof to shelter you and to have somewhere where you could feel belong, this was what a house gave you but Kou felt out of place as if he was not suppose to be here and it was true.

He was just some stranger to Gabriel neither the less, he should have just been left there to die in honesty. He wasn't meant to live and to be taken in the house of a man like Gabriel, a kind hearted soul who took him in without even knowing anything about him. It made Kou feel terrible but he couldn't back down now, looking up at Gabriel and his eyes lit up in delight but he quickly looked away, glancing at the floor to a bowl that laid empty with dust collecting on it,"I don't mind. I'm not picky." Kou replied still staring at the bowl on the floor. The bowl for some reason perked his interest, the name of the cat popped into his head,"This must be Theo's bowl." Kou thought about to go over to it when Gabriel told him about the trail of water he was leaving behind him, glancing back down to his feet to see a puddle of water at his feet coming from the front door all the way to where he was standing now.

His blush grew more as he looked towards Gabriel in guilt of his terrible manner,"I-i'm so sorry. If you wouldn't mind, I like to take a bath if that is fine with you Gabriel." Kou asked since he really did need one. He was dirty and cold to the bones, he needed a good warm bath to get him back in shape a bit.

"Ah, great, because I really don't have much at the moment. I should really fill this fridge," the blond muttered, lifting up the white, fragile plate and placing it within the recently bought microwave. He set the cooking time, but didn't start it yet, staring at the green numbers written over it. What would be the point? Warming up the food while this boy went to clean himself would only result into it being cold when he came back. "Go ahead, but the bath doesn't work. The shower does. I'll fix that someday. Make sure the water is warm. I wouldn't like to find you freezing... Again," he told the smaller boy, glancing at him and leaning his back on the counter before adding; "Oh, and you can use my shampoo. Don't mind the scent though. I just really like flowers. Too bad it's a turn off when it comes to girls." Gabriel chuckled, waiting for the awkward moment to pass and the other to leave and get into the bathroom.

{...}

His dark, sea blue eyes drifted across the entrance and the dirty carpet, already feeling discouraged. The male sighed and got on his knees to scrub the dirt and water off, using a rag he took from under the sink, usually being kept into an old drawer underneath it. Not that he bothered to clean his place that much, since it was neat most of the time, but now... Dear lord. At least the boy would be clean... And smell flowers. Gabriel hummed and rolled on the floor, moving to another spot to be cleaned. More like... Brown-colored water. "
Oh my god... Where do even come from? Were you directly imported from the jungle?" he whispered.

Once he got his answer, Kou just nod, his expression bland,"Thank you. I'll go take one then." Kou said but then Gabriel added that his shampoo was a sweet flowery scent, Kou's eye lit up at the thought of it,"Oh, I don't mind, I like flowers too so it's fine." Kou said, giving Gabriel a small smile before walking off the the hallways. It didn't take long for him to find the bathroom as he walked into the pure white room with the floor sparkling clean as glass. It was shocking that he could even see his reflection on it a bit,"Wow... he's a clean freak." Kou thought, chuckling softly at how clean Gabriel was. Everywhere he went was clean and spotless with no dust or web to cover it, it made Kou regret more to enter in such a home.

Looking around, he saw a rack of towels all neatly folded and placed, Kou taking one of the fluffy towels and placing it on one of the rails,"
He won't mind me using his towel." Kou thought and started to strip from his clothing being left with only his nude body. Placing his glasses on the sink, he climbed into the shower and turned the knob to warm, the feeling of the water splashing on his back melted away the chills as he sighed in delight of the nice feeling. Stream started to form as it filled the whole bathroom in a thick fog, Kou grabbing a bar of soap and scrubbing himself down till he saw no marks or mud on him. The water below was dirty with a bit of brown, Kou whined at how disgusting it looked,"How dirty." Kou thought, and started to wet his hair as he grabbed the bottle of shampoo and remembered what Gabriel said about the scent of it, opening the top and sniffing it a bit.

His nostril was filled with the intoxicating smell of flowers, his mind filled with fluffy thoughts as Kou hummed softly, squeezing some on his hand and placing the bottle back onto it's rightful place. Rubbing the gooey liquid into his hair, the bathroom was soon filled with the scent, Kou smiled at how lovely the smell was. What he told Gabriel was true about his liking for flowers, he once thought of owning his own flower shop once but that dream was shattered as he reminded himself that such thing would never happen.

After his nice shower, Kou looked around him seeing that his clothes were dirty, he didn't want to go out wearing it again after he just got himself clean. Wrapping thw towel around his waist, Kou just took a deep breath and walked out of the bathroom with only the towel covering his lower half while his upper half was open for anyone to see. His hair was still wet but it didn't drip too much as Kou walked over to Gabriel and blushed at how embarrassing this was for him to show his nude body to a stranger but he didn't have a choice,"
U-umm... I need some clothes if possible." Kou said softly, his meek voice making him more of a scared mouse, his eyes glancing away from Gabriel and his arms wrapped around his chest as if he was trying to hide his body though they were both guys, Kou just didn't feel right when it was in front of people.

Gabriel perked his head up as he heard someone talking, still not used to hear the boy's voice. "Ah–" he let out, blinking and standing up with the dirty rag into his hands, brown water dripping on the floor. He gave a small smile and slightly titled his head to one side, forcing himself not to stare; it was rude and this boy was clearly embarrassed. "I didn't expect to see you so soon... Just give a me a moment," Gabriel calmly told him, walking past the other and heading to the kitchen, placing the rag into the sink and cleaning his hands from any earlier dirt and mud. Then, he turned around to look at the blue eyed male. "It'd be weird to lend you an underwear and I don't particularly want you naked into my pants, so I'll get you the longest shirt I have. Don't worry, I'll clean your clothes. Sorry about the inconvenience," he spoke, about to bow—like he would at work, but ending up scolding himself. He was so confused these days.

The taller male went to his room, opening his large wardrobe and taking out all of his shirts, tossing them around until he found one that would fit the situation. Here! Perfect. This blouse didn't even fit him in the first place, so... "
Got it." Gabriel quickly turned around and handed it to the boy as soon as he saw him, passing a hand into his blond hair and pushing it back. "I'm trying my best here," the blond admitted. "I'm sorry if I'm being awkward to you... Oh and uh... What's your name? Mind to tell me?"

Kou blushed deeply when he spoke of underwear as Kou was about to panic a bit but Gabriel rested assure that he would just give him a long shirt but it didn't help that his lower part would be nude and limping in the air, Kou blushing more at the thought but he shook the terrible thoughts away as he looked up at Gabriel and smiled softly,"No, it's fine. I'll be fine with it." Kou said and followed after him towards the halls where they went into a room, Kou looking around with curious eyes. He never been into such a neat room like this before, the bed was fixed and the room smelled of flowers as Kou watched Gabriel shuffled around a large wardrobe and started to toss out many shirts out everywhere making the room now messy with clothes lying around.

Watching all the shirts being scattered around the room, he perked up when Gabriel called out that he find one, seeing a loose blouse in his hand and taking the shirt into his own hands. The shirt was very long and didn't even seem like a shirt but more of a dress in a way. Turning his attention back up to Gabriel, Kou watched as he smoothed his hair back and admit what was on his mind, Kou just stared at him confused, tilting his head slightly. He didn't quite understand what Gabriel was talking about since he was doing fine. Kou didn't mind whatever he did since it was just enough for Kou as he was then finally asked for his name, Kou not hesitating to speak,"My name is Kou Yamashi." Kou said and looked down to the floor as he fiddled with the shirt,"A-and... you're doing great umm... I don't need too many things, wait I meant uhh-" Kou said trying to get out what he was trying to say but it seemed to just get jumbled with his thoughts as he tried to fix his sentence,"N-no I mean umm... It's just that you're not awkward well maybe a little but I'm okay with it. You're a nice guy." Kou said finally getting out what he was trying to say as he felt the weight on his shoulder lift up.
