History
First Age
The population of this fetid planet has always been slim. Long ago, dragons ruled over the skies and the land. Using their human slaves as entertainment and food, they shaped monuments and structures in their own image, asserting their control over the world. Humans were breeded simply for slavery and meals. But the dragons had made a single, minor mistake.
They allowed five individuals to escape their reign. All at once, these mortals were released and forgotten. A few scraps of food had left the table. The dragons knew that they would not cause too much harm; simply hiding among the caves which they already reside. Though dragons were the masters of combat and the magics of their own design, they did not realize that it could be mastered by a mere few humans.
Ozgiliath the Stalwart, the first of the free, had learned to master the craft of heat and metal, transforming ore and rock into weapons and armor. The eldest of the five, he held his greatsword in hand, made purely of the mithril he learned to mold.
Garen the Just, the Herald of Faith befriended the other forgotten creations of the dragons. Using hair of the horse and bone of the bird, he constructed the first bow, which he skillfully used to take down his enemies. Bearing more than two hundred arrows of bone, he stood prepared to kill all those who met his path.
Anastasia, Lady of the Dark, was the first to master any magic created by the dragons. Mastering the mysteries of death and shadow, she could manipulate the darkness around her, becoming an avatar of the night.
The Lovers Kalyon and Yuna, the first to freely love, both followed their own paths of war. Kalyon, master of the flame, used the dragon's legendary breath of fire for his own purposes. Yuna, however, weilded daggers designed by Ozgiliath, though she redesigned and used them for her own purposes. Mastering the art of close combat and stealth, she and Kalyon became a devastating team.
Rising against the dragons who control this realm, they fought against the immortal beasts of old. Ozgiliath wielded his weapons with skill, his armor as sure and as thick as the scales of the dragons. Garen struck the flying beasts with gargantuan arrows, piercing their eyes. Anastasia darkened the realm which they fought, giving their allies the advantage as she controlled such evil to dispatch the powerful drakes. Kalyon used the flames of the monsters against them, causing them to burn from the inside. Yuna, having gained such an advantage, dispatched the bewildered drakes with ease.
Striking down the dragons, the five saved masses of enslaved men and women, teaching them their arts. Destroying the threat, they reclaimed the world in the name of the Five.
In the end, the dragons were all but extinct. The remaining few hiding in the ruins of their once perfect world. With such power gained, the five ultimately became immortal as the dragons; the only thing that could possibly kill them is the threat of murder. But with their skill and power, none would oppose them.
Second Age
Hundreds of years past, and with each passing decade, the five became more and more insane with power and war. Their nation fell apart, being replaced by a world of disease and strife. The five continued to keep their reign over the world, but without any assistance from the rulers, humanity fell. The citadel which they spent so long to create became an asylum; a requiem of mourning.
Most of the population died off, replaced by vile monsters and beasts which took claim over the kingdom. The five drastically changed, helping to turn the world into such a wasteland.
Garen fell into madness, falling into the forests to learn about the beasts and monsters who lived there. In the end, no one is sure if he is living or dead. However, some say that they can hear murmurs of laughs in the forest.
Anastasia became consumed by her power, despising the day. Hoping to block out the sun, she created an army of demons and beasts of death to kill enough of the populace to gain the sacrifices required to gain such power. Wielding the fierce power of shadow and death, she killed more humans than could be counted.
Kalyon and Yuna slowly separated from one another, Kalyon maddened by his power. He wanted to defend his lover, to show her his purpose, his passion, but she refused. She was afraid. In furious anger he burst forth in flame, and left her presence. Out of rage, he destroyed the citadel of Hylarra, and killed any who crossed him. He now sits in his realm of ash, trembling from suffering and turmoil. The love of his life is gone, so all should feel his wrath. As for Yuna, she went into hiding, living among those that her allies now seek to kill.
Ozgiliath remained the leader of the people, forcing a small faction to fight by his side. His knights now serve him indefinitely. With such madness infused with his desire for order, he kills any who fails him, replacing his lost soldiers with threatened survivors.

2) Refrain from too much language and/or sexual description. Keep these PG-13 at maximum, please.
3) I don't care about violence description, so have fun with it.
