Backstory:

Zelin led a rather quiet life, partaking in most mundane and boring teachings that royal or noble youth engage in. He held no hopes for the future, not even believing he himself may take the thrown. Times were always peaceful as far as he could remember. It was not till he met Sir Charles that he learned of war. His parents forbade the art of combat, but when he could manage it, Zelin would sneak out to watch Sir Charles train his men in the courtyard.

The way they fought, the blades they carried, the armor they wore, all brought Zelin excitement. He knew since that young age he'd become a warrior, one that even his father would boast of. It took a lot of begging, but finally Charles, behind Liazol's back, began teaching Zelin. The prince treated Charles with the most respect he could muster, while within himself believing the knight to be his uncle.

The death of Zelin's parents have taken a large toll on him, and with no true family left, he has been left to fill a thrown too large for him. Trapped between cowardly and selfish nobles, and angry commoners, he feels alone in the castle. Charles taught him what he knows, shown him the way to fight and lead. He will blink away the burning tears, he has to. For his parents.

Charles Mein grew up in the poorest alleys of

Dominion, strange considering that the city

itself is quite the beauty. Charles was soon adopted

by a Mercenary, Erin Vale, who he had

pick-pocketed expertly. However, it takes a thief

to know a thief. Erin caught Charles and offered

him training and a home if the boy could

entertain Erin's wife, who had always

wanted a son. Charles agreed, and was raised

loved by his adopted family, and as an only child.

He was well educated by, well, himself.

Charles spent most of his time in his family's

library, or out on the streets socializing. Soon enough,

Charles ran into someone, the future King of Venesia.

The two became friends, and visited each other every

other day. Meanwhile, Charles would be trained

in the art of combat and magic by his pops,

Erin.

Eventually, Erin had retired from adventuring.

Charles had been a blade-for-hire for around

three years, and gained a name for himself.

Charles' mother had eventually suggested the Guard as a

nobler job for Charles, who agreed. Charles entered the

academy, and became a fine recruit and guard,

rising through the ranks by his unorthodox and

efficient combat techniques and tactics.

He was the treasure of the guard throughout

his early career, until he himself replaced

the sick and dying Captain of the Guard.

Charles was soon growing in popularity,

and had reunited with his friend and king,

Liazol. Since then, he had served Venesia

rather well, and then Liazol had perished.

Broken, Charles had left the castle in anger and tears,

leaving behind a defenseless Queen, and a

leaderless batch of guards.

To this day, Charles blames himself for

the Queen's assassination, and promised

that he'd make it up to himself. When he returned,

Charles found a note in Liazol's bedroom. It was a letter

to Charles, asking him to train his son. With

a chance to redeem himself, Charles concluded

that he would keep Venesia together, and train

it's new leader.

Personality: Cordelia is a straight forward kind of girl who says it as it is. But not when it comes to her won personal life that is, shes very picky about people knowing things about her. She has a kind heart and a very open mind towards anyone she meets unless proved they are not to be trusted. Her love of medicine makes her a happy individual with a deep passion for healing.

Appearance: She has very very lond dark purple hair and fair pale skin. Her eyes are are a silvery blue and normally where eyes are white hers are black. She is normally seen in long black dresses and cloaks lined with fur. She also has small elf like ears that she inherited from her mothers side.

Backstory: Cordelia was raised in a cabin with her mother, father, grandmother and grandfather. Her grandad died while she was still very young and her parents were always occupied with their business with herbs and patients. So she was practically raised by her grandmother. Most people thought she was her mother anyways since Cordelia shared many of her traits, that included the ears. She was raised to cherish all living life and the earth that provided for them. Magic was soon becoming her sole interest. But when she was 12 she found a dying animal that wad broken its wing. She took the young thing home and cared for it, using what she knew about magic and healing to eventually fix the birds broken wing. The day she saw it fly off she realized she wanted to do what she did for that bird for everyone and thing. But with that came an unhealthy obsession with wings and the desire to fly. When her parents decided to retire she took over the family business, her room becoming her personal lab of herbs, seeds, flowers and other things. She became jealous of the avian breed and their ability to fly and their beautiful wings. And when her grandmother died the obsession became so much more, a mix of grief and longing all in one. So aside form healing people that come to her shop and making potions, she practices her magic to maybe one day give her the ability to fly or maybe one day find a way to get wings of her own. She swears one day she will live in Premia and set up shop there instead of the little cabin on the side of the road between There and Vuile.

Accepted, I like the CS but the Backstory is a bit short. Good because you're the assassin, but I hope you'll shed some light on that later in the RP. Mysterious is always yes. ;P

hired teachers. Ayah

became very good at fighting,

connection within the Military.

made a guard after three long

years of training. Ayah was put under

the command of Charles Mein,

Captain of the Royal Guard,

after her parents had given her

such a position. Charles treated

her like anyone else, which made

her feel rather normal for once,

and happy. Charles became Ayah's

father-figure, and prefers him over her

own father.

Over her training, Ayah had picked up

many habits of Charles'. Including,

an addiction to sweet food, hate for

bitter food, and the same kind of

laugh (only Ayah's is much, much cuter.)

Charles took a liking to her, and even

called her "daughter". Doing this

even when around her father, who had

gotten jealous, Charles simply told him to

"Cool off". Ayah had been rather

rebellious since then. It was also the day she

would become a Knight, and the day

Charles ran away. She was there when

the Queen was killed, and had been

the first person to trust Charles once

again, after his return.

Accepted, very nice, good addition of back story. My only complaint is that if she can cast any sort of magic she is not a torrens. She would be considered a halfbreed. Even if very little. Now, it doesn't mean she can't use enchanted weapons, items, ect but she cannot cost spells herself, she'd require a medium. Kinda like a rune or somethin'.

Backstory: Yamina is a tough proud girl who doesnt let anything get in her way. She has a very bad temper which leads to her using force to get what she wants. She was trained by her dad to fight and survive on her own in the wild. He left her out in the forest for a year with not much as a test to see if she could handle the real world. She proved herself by not only surviving but she earned the trust of many. She is skilled in some weapons but not all and when she is furious it takes a long time for her to calm down. When she was young she was injured by her brother accidentally which caused her to have multiple scars on her body and since she is a fighter from time to time she gains new ones. She is the youngest to enter the military and hopes to become commander one day.

Always thinking of stratagems to defeat the game of life. That is all he sees life as, a game and nothing more. Sarcastic, satirical, sinister, and insane. He deciphers right from wrong in a rather inhumane manner. Treating every victim with chivalry, he rather ends their life with great care and mourning. He does care, but only to believe that he was gifted with the destiny to end other people's destinies. Always smiling even with his mask on, Kyro enjoys things in life, but he would just rather take things to his own spin. Not preferring solitude, he tries to attract attention everywhere he goes. He does this in a loud manner, but not obnoxious. By using a minute amount of his magic or with his natural card tricks, he will use any method to grab attention. But it is not his killing persona that attracts people, it is his disguised form.


His disguised form attracts the attention of people around him to gather intel. By placing his clover eyepatch over his right eye his appearance changes to grant him a youthful look, how he was when he looked younger, and his hair color. A friendly appearance comes to his face rather than his original snarky face. His mind and personality does not change, just his appearance. Kyro uses different parts of his personality to deceive people.


Deceiving, robbing, fooling, and killing people. It is what he specializes in. He feels great sadness and sympathy as soon as he commits a crime but quickly lightens up with a joke or a distraction. He himself is a distraction, often finding himself wandering off in his train of thought. Always using colorful vocabulary and long stories to cover up lies and trickery works his way in gaining trust. Relationships to him are nothing but toys. He enjoys the different stages of relationships, love, hate, stupidity, kindness, and differences. Kyro sees himself as a scientist in a way, testing every type of scenario that comes to his mind on people. What seems insane to someone is quite intelligent to him. Doing things out of the norm he rather enjoys the adrenaline and craziness he is absorbed in.


The average human emotions of sadness, happiness, anger, etc. do not affect him as greatly as actual humans. He is rather empty when it comes to feeling. Kyro is an expert at expressing emotion, not feeling it though. This shows in his vacant blue eyes.


Nothing seems to trigger his sane mind, everything bothers his insane mind. His smile masks the frustration and fire he holds for nothing since everything is what he likes and hates. Conflict drives his soul, undetermination strives him to kill, disagreement leads him to fall. All things can go wrong with him, all things can go right with him. His decisions are one clouded by the poison of the creatures on the world.

Backstory:



He was rather a normal child growing with an insane mind. Never did he fit in, but he was popular. Kyro seemed to contain all the qualities of a perfect child. He was an only child, raised up with proper care and the above needed amount of love. Kyro never felt genuine happiness or any emotion but he played the roles with the emotions really well. Sometimes when he was alone he would wonder why he wasn't normal. As he did wonder he never realized what actions he was doing unconsciously until one day his parents actually found blood dripping from him and looking down at his hands he saw a bird dead in his hands. This should've freaked Kyro out but all he said was, "Poor birdy." After that incident his parents kept an eye over him.


Kyro realized this and began hiding all the hunting he was doing. He didn't know why but he felt the urge to kill, a voice in his head was telling him it was his destiny to end the lives of others. Not really clinging onto something to live for, he left his home at an early age and went on adventures. He killed throughout his adventures, not really feeling anything still. Kyro found his way leading him to a dark guild. At the age of 15 he was admitted into the guild. Kyro finally felt some purpose in living, to succeed in this guild. This was when he met greed.


Kyro enhanced and refined his skills while working in the guild rising up in the ranks quickly.

Personality: Zande is a simple man, with simple pleasures. He is very approachable, just about the friendliest fella a person could meet. However, this is not so much true affection as it is the natural air of an apex predator. Much like how a lion carelessly frolics about on the Savannah, Zande merrily socializes with anybody he pleases on a whim, going wherever he so desires. He loves combat as much as an otter loves oysters, and despite his easy-going demeanor, will gladly start a brawl. When among civilised company, he'll only claim somebody's head if they try to injure him first.


Appearance: Zande stands at 6'4", 190 lbs. He has dense, tube-like muscles and a lean, wiry frame with long arms and legs. His yellowed teeth are filed to sharp points, and upon close inspection it may be noticed that his jaws are unusually muscular. On his biceps and chest are black tribal tattoos. Overall, he is built like a starved jaguar. He wields a bearded sparth axe and double headed iklwa headhunting spear. His padded boots are fitted with custom made steel claws. Upon the back of his ratty black cloak is a skull and crossbones emblem. He has a deep scar running down the right side of his head.

Flaws: He has a dreadful and overwhelming case of ailurophobia. Zande also tends toget a bit cocky sometimes.

Backstory: Zande grew up in the wilds, a savage tribesman banished from his village. He was an excellent hunter, but took too much satisfaction in collecting the heads of his victims. He has since made a living as a wandering mercenary, offering up his services for a modest price. Unfortuately, because of a nasty encounter with a feline in his youth (perhapshe reason for his scar?), he has a terrible phobia of cats. So bad, in fact, that even a wooden carving of one is enough to make him lose control of his bladder.

@Doc Doctor Accepted my friend, your character is different from what I usually see. I like it. Could you enlighten me on what ailurophobia is? One last thing, "human" isn't necessarily a race. Since he has great strength, no magic and no wings, I'd say he's a torrens correct?


 
Oh and in addition, if some didn't notice the RP has indeed started. So those who have been accepted may begin their "story". I'm sure not EVERYONE will be in the same place? Perhaps.

There are few stories of Krieg usually found within ancient scriptures and scrolls. For many years he has been thought of as a legend, only existing to scare children. But of recent his name has been whispered. Some people have seen orc, demon, and creatures of the dark somehow working with one another. The government and churches refuse to acknowledge these odd actions within these creatures, but villagers and lower ranking lords fear for the worst. An alliance. The stories of Guerre tell of an Guardian gone bad, committing himself to evil and darkness did this guardian change from the holy and good demeanor of his brethren to a sadistic and evil being. He raised an army of underlings and declared war upon all kingdoms. His army was unstoppable, many fell beneath the blades of the dark creatures, one kingdom fought back with results, they kept the wave of destruction back, allowing for themselves to prepare a force to fight back. Assembling an army of many species to work in unison they began to push back Krieg's army. Soon they had found their way to Mortis, he killed many before falling. Bound in chains of magic he was thrown into a spike pit, the large cover shut before they confirmed his death. Years passed and civilization returned and the great evil was forgotten, until now.

Orcs are the main composition of Krieg's army. They are quick to procreate and don't require any training. They are loyal to Krieg and any of the dark guild, obeying without question. The downside is they fight amongst themselves, always cutting down the week and attempting to climb higher in chain of command. Orcs are easily fooled, dumb as stones and would just about fall for any commotion or trickery, unless they've gained experience from previous encounters in which they can realize something is up.

Uruk:

Uruk are very separated from their counterparts the orcs. Uruk are common, but not in swarms much like the orcs. Mainly deployed as captains of Orcs or elite forces, the Uruk have a natural talent for controlled chaos, keeping their troops in tactical formations whilst allowing for free movement and slaughter. Normally an Uruk is heavily armored and armed, be them archer or footman. An Uruk's fighting capabilities are plenty, they can become proficient in any weapon within days.

Some demons wield normal weapons, axe, swords, bows, and spears, while others use demonic magic and naturally abilities such as fire-breath and fire magic.
