Character Sheet
Name: Damon Asestes

Role: Business Heir/Gladiator

Alias/Sports Name: Damocles

Age: 26

Appearance: Damon stands at 5’ 11”, that lacking inch a thorn in his side. Nonetheless, he makes up for it in size, in general. He sports the trapezoidal body shape, with broad shoulders that ease into a stocky, straight middle. He carries muscles in his biceps and calves and holds himself proudly. He likes to stand with a wide stance, body ever at the ready for a challenge. His hands are slightly larger than the average.

He has dark brown hair, bordering on black, wrapped in tight curls. He keeps it very short though, making it near impossible to have the length for curls. However, when he grows it out (usually when he is off-season for gladiatorial games), his curls become so prominent that throwing them into a small ponytail turns them into a self-curled bun. With that, he has bushier brows and a short, classic beard. He has warm brown eyes, going lighter towards the outside of the iris. They can be quite expressive, shifting from hatred to care with ease. As for his nose, it has a straight bridge and a slightly rounded end.

When it comes to clothes, he prefers to wear a loose white t-shirt and mid-thigh shorts with loose pockets. However, when he has to remember that he is the son of a successful businessman, he can wear a suit quite nicely. However, in the arena, he wears vambraces with the elbow guard, gloves with knuckle dusters, and shoulder guards that lift to the neck. He prefers to fight shirtless with shorts that bare a chainmail protecction over his groan. He wears shin/calf guards with strong, spike-toed boots. He likes to let people see his skin and injuries.

Weapons: Two long daggers that combine into a single double-ended blade. His vambraces can shift into shields with the technology they use. He is also quite capable of using a mace and does sometimes to shake things up.

Personality: Damocles is a man with a face that says back the hell off. He likes to look intimidating and make it clear that he is not to be messed with. And, in all truth, he often isn’t when he is in a bad mood or looking for space. He may not initiate conflict, but he has no issue putting someone in their place for starting trouble with him. But overall, his appearances are just that, appearances.

While he can speak callously, deep down, the man has a soft heart. He cares about other people and is willing to offer his help if it is needed. He has a heart for children and the weak, and a willingness to occasionally show that… if no one is watching. He carries deep ideals on family and relationships and is a man that speaks his mind over hiding his thoughts. However, it takes getting to know him to even begin to peel away the layers to reach that part of him.

In a nutshell, he is a man with more bark than bite, but he sure as hell can bite.

History: Damocles’s father was a General in the army and with it, the family would move. As a General, Junius had the right to move with his family and would often take them with him to his postings. In one city, they settled for a couple of years where he made friends, but they moved away after.

As Damocles and his brother Aristides got older, Junius finally retired and settled in the capital, shifting focus to the business and political world. Aristides, much smaller than his brother, decided to follow his father’s place in the business and also began political campaigns, eventually joining the business board as well, making him the youngest member at 18. The family business owns large corporations in the security business field. However, Damocles, not interested in politics outside discussing them, found himself interested in the Colesseum and the gladiatorial games. He debated between that and the army, but found more action in the games, shifting his attention to joining them.

Brother - Aristides Asestes(Blonde hair, brown eyes)
Father - Junius Asestes

Name: Dekota Choi~!
Age:22-23
Nicknames: Family,Closer, friends and favorite teachers call her Koda, and Ko-ko. Not so close friends, and basically anyone else can call her De-de, or De.
Ethnicity: She is mixed between, Asian (korean) and white. Her mother is white and her father is Korean so she is 50/50 race wise. But her korean looks stand out more.
Facial features: She has light freckles on her nose and cheeks. Doe eyes with very long eyelashes. It always looks like she's blushing because her cheeks are red. She doesn't have a button nose but she uses contour to create one. Medium sized lips. ^^ She has a straight eyebrow shape. She looks more Korean than she does white. The white features are her Doe eyes, long lashes, freckles and her body type. She typically has an RBF that she got from her dad.
Eyes: As you know she has Doe eyes. Specifically she has hazel pupils that change to a light brown in the sun.
Lips:She has a very light overbite that they are getting fixed early before it affects her badly. She wears light blue braces
Body type: She is pear shaped. Obviously she has more weight in the hip and thigh area but it's not like a massive difference from her upper body, it's only a slight difference since she's mixed. She's not the tallest person you'll meet standing at 5’5 ^^
Style:She likes to wear body con dresses with cut off sweaters, arm warmers and sneakers. Occasionally she will wear ripped jeans with an oversized shirt.
Hair: Koda has natural black hair that is styled into a wolf cut. The tips dyed gray with light streaks of white all throughout her hair. It looks as if her hair has been curled with a great amount of force. Other than that her hair is pretty healthy and is just a little bit past her shoulders.
Personality: it may seem as if Koda isn't approachable but she is! If you get to know her she is funny and sweet. Often very sensitive and very protective over her friends and family. She didn't get along well with kids at school and grew up hiding her feelings unless you approached her the correct way. Growing up and being bullied made her collect weird habits. When people bullied her they got close to her and she typically bit people…on the arm…directly..weird habit but she’s slowly growing out of it! Even if you're her friend and you get too close she will bite.
Family: Her mother, her father. Her two older brothers and her ragdoll kitten! :)
Hobbies: origami,archery (can't think of anything else…)
Dislikes: She hates any type of bug, certain people, loud people, the color pink, anything that's dirty.
Likes:She loves reptiles, animals ,She likes to draw, sing, read (bookworm :3),cook, do make-up and more!
Random facts?: If you ask her more personal questions she might open up to you, but you have to be smart about what you say! Talking about songs gets her to be more friendly. She wants another pet :]. She loves going on walks and she hasn't celebrated her birthday in a while because she feels as if they’re not important.

Damon
The cheer of the crowd fueled the heat in his veins as he shifted his stance, the lighting of the field in the dim arena made his eyes seem darker, reflecting the spot lights. Blood dripped down his forehead from a cut and his chest heaved from exertion, but the smile on his face portrayed confidence and blood lust. His tongue swept across his upper lip, clearing the dripping blood from it as he rolled his shoulders and spun his daggers. The toes of his boots dug into the dirt floor, before he suddenly twisted his vody to the side as his opponent lunged towards him.

The opponent’s sword flashed past, Damon lifting his arms sideways and parallel as he activated the shields on his vambraces. They released like a forcefield, smashing against his oppoonent’s lower back to send him flying down, perfectly set up for a well-aimed kick to the ribs. The man yowled, rolling away to spit blood as he held his side, Damon stepping back out of arm’s length as the crowd went wild. It took every fiber of his body not to keep going or drive a dagger downward, but sector two rules were clear. Injuring an opponent was acceptable. Furthering harm when they were down or killing them was out of question.

Dekota
Dekota was interested in the fight, her eyes flickered with mischief, before showing a sign of interest in one of the gladiators. She sat back and watched as blood dripped down from Damons forehead, but as she looked at his expression there was hint of murder in his eyes which excited her making her smirk slightly. She gagged as he licked the blood from his lip but, continued to watch her eyes not tearing away from his form, not even for a second.

"It wasn't a bad fight but it was still boring...nothing special about it.." Dakota thought to herself. She grimaced wanting to stand up and leave more than anything. The only reason she stayed was because of Damon, not like she was going to talk to him, but she just wanted to look at him. Koda paused and then snapped out of it and looked away from Damon, her face slightly flushed with embarrassment. As the fight ended, everybody began to cheer. She hated loud people...especially these type of people so she stood up and went into the hallway. There was still a good view of the arena but it wasn't that visible. Annoyed, a loud sigh escaped her mouth, the hallway mocking her echoing it right back. The look of mischief had left her eyes the only thing left was the look of boredom.

He savored the cheers, the echoing yells from the crowd as he pumped his fist into the air to encourage them. It was a small consolation for the unfulfilled pit he felt, soaking in the praise as he began to walk out. Security was already filing to the entrances and exists of the arena to stop people from flooding out, though most stayed seated to watch the next fight to take place. The whole arena system was well-laid out to ensure the fighters didn’t get bombarded, though somehow, the etiquette of the masses stayed civil. Could have been the incident of overcrowding a fighter once that ended in two people dead and five hospitalized…

The fighters weren’t often patient people for having their space invaded by a crowd… That and people had a far better chance to view and talk to the fighters at the end of the complete event in the open auditorium across from the arena itself. A place where crowd control existed and people could get anything they wanted signed without the risk of a weapon shoved between their ribs.

So, Damon chose to stroll through the main hallway where the vending machine had much colder sodas than the ones in the locker rooms. The blood was already drying on his face and tucked his daggers into their slots on his shorts as he rolled his shoulder. He began to work the shoulder guards off, undoing the buckles to he could free his neck and roll it more comfortably. His eyes closed and he sucked in a relieved breath for a moment, before the softer browns reopened and he caught sight of a woman.

He paused and lifted a brow as he stopped at the vending machine that she was near. She looked familiar, though he couldn’t put his finger on it. Something about her hairstyle and those eyes… He squinted, hand hovering over the machine as he tried to put a name to the face. Or perhaps she just looked like someone he knew? He wasn’t exactly a social man and decided to leave it be, shrugging as he typed in a specific code he’d bribed the machine tech for.

Koda tilted her head as she saw the man look at her. She squinted, her lashes getting In the way of what vision was left. Something about the way he was looking at her made her face flush with red, which was unexpected. She had looked away quickly, gathered up all her emotions and buried them deep down trying to seem like a civilized human. She took a deep breath and finally spoke.

"Do you need something?" She said politely. Trying to shake away this awkward feeling that began to tease her. She cracked her knuckles involuntarily, the loud cracking sound echoing through the hallways. Even though they were a couple feet apart Koda noticed the height difference, which made her feel especially uncomfortable. When It got to the point where she had to forcibly press down to make her knuckles crack she stopped and decided to just stare at the ground.

As he got his drink she walked away quickly, and once she got to a good point she began to run down the hallways trying to find the exit. She tried almost every door and none of them were the exits. A wail escaped her mouth so she stopped, took deep breaths hoping not to see Damocles, as she walked back towards where she had first seen him.

Damon
"I'm getting a soda," he replied gruffly, lifting a brow and glancing at her. With the distraction, he misclicked a number and the machine beeped in protest. Damon sighed, going to type it back in when she left, the man shaking his head as he bypassed the system and finally requested his soda. A Dr. Pepper dropped into the dispenser, lowering and opening for him to take.

The desire for a drink was so strong that he popped open the tab there, tilting his head back and savoring the cool roll of the soda down his throat. Steps echoed before being drowned out by the scream of the crowds that reverberated from the arena. Whatever fight was happening must be going well. He stayed a few minutes, enjoying the isolation and cool hallway with the cold drink.

The woman was suddenly there again and Damon's curiousity was further piqued. "Maybe I should be asking if I can help you," he spoke finally, stepping closer to her, shoulders relaxed as he took another sip of his soda. "You look familiar. Do I know you?"

Koda crossed her fingers hoping that he was gone, but as she rounded the corner she saw him still there. A heavy sigh escaped her mouth. She then froze in place just blankly looking at him. She felt as if her heart had stopped in fear. Dekota stepped back as he walked closer, her heart beating faster as the only emotion her eyes showed were fear. Oh how she wished she were anywhere but here. Her eyes went blank for a good second as she tried to figure out why she was so scared, was it a panic attack?

"No!" She squeaked out her voice cracking slightly. She tried her best to relax but just continued to back away slowly and carefully. "Me familiar? W-why would you think that...Maybe you just see me a lot...I typically come to your fights..." She continued to back away still facing him, as she walked backwards she bumped into a couple people, which made her yelp out of surprise.

Why am I so nervous... She thought to herself still slightly shaking as the people passed by her. Just be normal not like he can hurt you...? She just stood in one place awkwardly look at anything other than him.

Damon
"Are you sure you're alright there?" Damon raised an eyebrow again, but didn't move closer to here. Was she having some kind of panic attack? Maybe she was on drugs? Most of his mind told him to walk away and just forget it, to head back to the locker room and relax there. He took another sip, watching as she bumped into people and yelped. Maybe she lost someone and was just freaked out? It baffled him that this woman, who could barely move without looking like she wanted to huddle in a ball, managed to come to his fights and survive the crowds of people. Then again, if she was some kind of fan, he supposed it could all just be an extreme reaction to meeting him face to face. It didn't exactly explain the fear though.

"I don't remember faces from the crowd, lady. I can't even make faces out from the arena." He shook his head and felt the tension return his shoulders, regret washing over him for even coming to the hallway for his soda. "Listen, lady, I'm not sure if you're sick or need something, but maybe you should go to the hospital or something. I have shit to do so I hope you end up okay... sorry to have scared you." He shook his head and turned.

Dekota
"I-im not sick! And I'm not crazy or whatever you're thinking...but maybe you should be more polite? What if there was something going on with me, is this how you would help? By being sassy and running away like a child with no sense of what's wrong or right." Koda scoffed and just looked away feeling slightly offended. "And instead of calling me 'Lady' you could ask for my name 'Dude'." She leaned against a wall, balling up her fists. "And do you expect me to just say, 'Yeah we were childhood friends I've missed you so much'! What were you expecting?"

"Plus, you didn't scare me...you just surprised me...and at all honesty...if you're mad...do something about it! Handle it like a child or an adult its not up to me." She stared at him for a while hoping to get a reaction out of him. She waited a while watching his every move. She didn't move, as she was still slightly shaken up from a couple minutes ago. Their height difference, the aggressive tone, everything! But what he said brought her back to reality, making her realize, people cant talk to her that way.

She stayed against the wall before walking away slowly hoping that she didn't anger him too much. She passed by him to get back to the arena, so that she wouldn't miss the next fight.

Damon
"Excuse me?" Damon scoffed and gently reached out to grab her arm, stopping her from walking away from a fight she started and he hadn't ever intended on having. "Now who is acting like a child?" The man shook his head, ignoring the throbbing headache from his still-open wound on his forehead. "Listen here, I came here minding my own business and you interacted with me! I asked if you were okay and I asked if I knew you. I am missing where I was the unpolite one when you have done nothing but give me a damn headache!"

The man looked over her face, her words still rolling through his exhausted mind. "And what does childhood friends have to with shi-" He cut his own sentence off as recognition struck him, his hand releasing her. "Koda? What the hell? What the hell is wrong with you?? God dammit! You should have just told me your name, it's been years!"

Dekota
Dekota tried pulling her arm away from his grip, her other hand grabbing on his arm. "Let me go!" She put her hand on his shoulder trying to push him away, even though it was useless...and she knew that. "Me interacting with you?...I have absolutely no reason to do that!" She froze up when he said that she was giving him a headache and just stood still looking away from him.

She looked up at Damon when he said her name. "What the heck, how do you know my name?" She stared at him tilting her head like a confused puppy. Quickly she moved her hand away from his arm once he let go. "First you call me crazy, then you somehow know my name and I'm supposedly the crazy one?!" She then freezes and looks back up at him. "Wait a second...Damon? No...maybe I'm wrong...Wait is it you?"

Damon
"I did not say you were crazy!" Damon groaned and shook his head. "And yes, it's me, dammit! You didn't know?" The soda he just finished suddenly wasn't enough for his parched throat and sudden stress. "I just wanted a soda, Koda, not a headache. What are you even doing here watching these fights?" The man sighed and pushed his fingers through his low-cut hair. "What are you doing getting yourself in trouble for? Most fighters wouldn't have the patience I had!"

Dekota
"You're making it sound like I'm difficult..." She side eyed him and stepped closer trying to get a better look, and make sure she wasn't going crazy. "You look...different, I guess you could say. You look, better! Yeah better that's the word, much better from when you were a kid..." She spoke slowly squinting slightly. She looked at him for a while before looking away.

(And why are you asking all these questions, like your my mom?)
"그런데 왜 우리 엄마처럼 이런 질문을 하는 거죠?" She had spoke in Korean when she was mad and this was a perfect example. "Plus you're acting like I'm a lot of work or, stressing you out! If I'm stressing you out I'll just leave. How does that sound huh?" She rolled her eyes slowly. Why am I always getting so easily offended? She thought to herself.

Damon
"Better? You make it sound like I looked like shit as a kid." The man snorted, finally allowing himself to relax in the slightest degree. "And I hate to break it to you, but I still don't speak Korean. I didn't then and I still don't. Quite frankly, you are stressing me." He shook his head and began to walk, gesturing for her to follow him if she wished to continue the conversation. More than anything, he just wanted a cool shower and his warm bed in his apartment.

"I came for a soda and was immediately bombarded with your damn attitude. If you want to go, be my guest, but I know you and you'll end up back. You always did come back." Damon remembered their childhood days, how she would get offended over something simple, only to come running back over to spend time with him. "But you look different too. You've grown into your looks. You look good."

Dekota
"I mean, what if I am saying that just in different words. And you can't get offended because those exact words didn't come out of my mouth!" Koda finally relaxed and she smiled. "And you should learn Korean for me! I mean I'm worth it, I'm worth everything. She said as a joke fluffing up her hair slightly. "Also, if you find me so stressful why talk to me, old friend." She walked with him when he gestured, glancing at him a couple times.

"And my attitude isn't that bad. Imagine how I felt when i heard what you had to say to me..." She stuck her tongue out at him like a little kid. "Okay maybe I did always come back, because I didn't know any better and didn't have self value...But trust me if you mess it up I'm leaving for good, I'm not young anymore I know better. She scoffed and just looked away. "Also thanks for the compliment, but I already knew that..." She didn't look at him, her face flushed with red, her emotions switching between annoyed and shocked.
