In the world of Earth, there are humans. And a small group of humans have the potential to control their life force, or ki, to do a number of things.
On the world of Vegeta, lives Saiyans, a race of ruthless fighters who destroy and conquer planets, all of which can control Ki, for fighting purposes.


On the planet of Namek live the Namekians, a race of bug-like creatures who are peaceful farmers. Those who can use Ki typically use it for healing purposes.
