The Premise



​

There is an infinite number of heroes and villains, each being legends in their own right, but who has the authority to say they are masters of all? After surmounting the many obstacles that littered the land in their own realities, the minds of these warriors inevitably drifted outwards to the far reaches of existence. Were there any challenges left to overcome? Was there any place they could go, to once more put their power to the test? Yet each shook their heads at the thought. It was foolish. Of course there wasn't, and there never would be....


That was until Jirachi, the wish-maker, heeded their call. Bounding away peacefully through the air over Capacia Island, the legendary pokemon, now awake from its 1,000 year slumber, was bombarded with the wishes of these warriors. The yearning and desire held in the hearts of these people flooded the poor creature, causing it great pain and sorrow. It wasn't long before it couldn't take it anymore; granting each and every wish, hoping that through this fulfillment, they'd be able to find peace.


However, there was one thing missing. A medium was needed for each person, keeping them connected to the new world where they would face off. Handlers have been sent to this created realm, not only serving as gate-way for their partner's arrival, but working with their warrior to prove just who is the greatest ever.

RP Background

A few details: Some cartoon characters will be accepted. Comic Characters will not be allowed. If things go well, they would an RP centering around them in the future. If that succeeds as well, I'd even be open to doing a round for legendary heroes of myth.


Some more details: This will mainly revolve around being a battle-royale. With that in mind, it will still have a little bit of everything. Battle, Role-playing, Strategy, Character Development, and interaction with the Rp'er. I really like where this can go.


Some more details: This will be re-playable. It will not be a one-shot RP. Players can be swapped out, characters swapped out, and decisions taking other turns. Ahead of time, if you like the game, feel free to create your own RP in its style. This is because after a few initial rounds, I don't think I'd be able to direct multiple rounds for say, if someone wants to do an expanded tournament.


Some more details: Debated on this, but there will be a post order. However, there will be a dynamic in place allowing people to be skipped if there's no post within a reasonable amount of time. Their character will be punished, but still able to play.


Finally: No need to be advanced. As long as you can understand the rules and how it works, you'll be golden! Won't be anything too extensive though! Love to make things a simple as possible for people. Anyway, let me know!

  • Boosted Gear (High School DxD): Put on the legendary gauntlet of the Dragon Emperor, Ddraig. It doubles the dis-unity of one attack.
    
  
  
  
  • The Dragon-Balls (DBZ): As all seven are gathered, a dragon appears granting up to 3 wishes. You may pick up to 3 items; no duplicates. They cost 100% dis-unity each. The dragon-balls can no longer be used for the rest of the RP.
    
  
  
  
  • Aang's Glider (Avatar The Last Airbender): Use the Air-bender's gilder to get 1 free dodge!
    
  
  
  
  • The Shikon Jewel (Inuyasha): Draw upon the Shikon Jewel's purifying powers, as your soul achieves total balance. Heal any amount of dis-unity from another player, then add what you healed to your own.
    
  
  
  
  • Tessaiga (Inuyasha): The blade takes on what it touches. Hit a swift; gain two dodges. Hit a bruiser; gain two specials. Hit a colossal; gain two blocks.
    
  
  
  
  • Tensaiga (Inuyasha): Use the legendary blade to heal either yourself or another by 30% dis-unity.
    
  
  
  
  • The Death Note (Death Note): Use this deadly book by writing a player's name in it. 16 posts after being written, they will automatically be ejected. Killing the owner will stop the death.
    
  
  
  
  • Flying Nimbus (DBZ): Fly high up and away from the battlefield on this trusty, yellow, little cloud. No one can even target you until your next post.
    
  
  
  
  • The Master Ball (Pokemon): Throw the Master ball at another player. They are now caught. They MUST skip their next post.
    
  
  
  
  • Avalon (Fate/Stay): Heal yourself by 50% dis-unity .
    
  
  
  
  • Naruto's Headband (Naruto): Makes your attack un-blockable.
    
  
  
  
  • Yata Mirror (Naruto): A blazing shield comes forth, keeping you alive. Before being killed, the Yata Mirror appears, covering you in a fiery armor. You are left at 299/300 dis-unity (399/400 for Colossal).
    
  
  
  
  • Reiji Maigo (Shakugan no Shana): The treasure tool, Reiji Maigo, replenishes you. Restore 2 uses once. Can be in any category (Heavy, special, block, dodge).
    
  
  
  
  • Pocket-watch (Pandora Hearts): The Pocket-watch cranks to life, playing a lovely melody; it reminds you of something familiar...you may re-use one item you have had in the past.
    
  
  
  
  • Locket of 10 year-old Promise (Nisekoi): Make a promise of protection to another player. After 10 posts, you are both healed by 50% dis-unity. If it's just yourself, you're still healed by 50%.
    
  
  
  
  • Devil Fruit (One Piece): Take a bite of the mysterious fruit. You may transform yourself into another class. Uses and maximum dis-unity change as well.
    
  
  
  
  • Natsu's Scarf (Fairytail): The scarf Natsu's Dragon shields you from bad luck and evil attacks. When a player dies and they try to give you dis-unity, it is blocked by the scarf.
    
  
  
  
  • Reborn the Monster Card (Yu-gi-oh): When a player dies, they are reborn in a glorious light at half their total dis-unity.
    
  
  
  
  • Reverse Blade Sword (Rurouni Kenshin): Use the non-lethal blade to deal an extra 40% dis-unity once. When used, your attack can't kill another player.
    
  
  
  
  • The Silver Crystal (Sailor Moon): Use the celestial power of the silver crystal to seal away your enemies. Choose an item from another player, and destroy it.
    
  
  
  
  • The Teachings: Clairvoyance (Log Horizon): Using a high-level technique known as Clairvoyance, cancel out every single attack against you once. You may attack in same post.
    
  
  
  
  • Chaos Emeralds (Sonic the Hedgehog): The player becomes a super-sonic version of themselves, glowing in a brilliant yellow. They can attack an extra 2 times in one post once.
    
  
  
  
  • Solar System Laser (Gundam): Call in an orbital strike from a set of solar arrays stationed in the stars. Deal 20% dis-unity to all other players once.
    
  
  
  
  • Grief Seed (Madoka Magica): Purify souls by absorbing their grief. Heal another player by 50% dis-unity, while adding 30% dis-unity to yourself. Or heal yourself for 50% dis-unity, and add 30% to another player.
    
  
  
  
  • Hei's Mask (Darker Than Black): Use the assassin's mask to scare your opponents. Take 20% less dis-unity from all attacks until your next post.
    
  
  
  
  • Maka's Scythe (Soul Eater): Use the black blood in Maka's tainted scythe to make yourself stronger. When attacking, raise the total dis-unity you can go up to by 20%.
    
  
  
  
  • Vash's Pistol (Trigun): Makes your attack un-dodgeable once.
    
  
  
  
  • Chiri Kitsu's Shovel (Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei): Deal an extra 10% dis-unity with 1 attack. If used on a target that's 40% or less away from being ejected, they're automatically killed.
    
  
  
  
  • (Restricted: May Not Start With This) The Hogyoku (Bleach): The orb's influence seeps into your being; transforming every cell in your body. It wants you to be stronger. It wants you to become your perfect self. Choose another class to be, in addition to your own once.

  The Bruiser: These are characters that hit hard, making sure their power is felt. Their sheer force can throttle opponents, causing an extra 20% dis-unity with each attack.
  
  The Colossal: These are characters that are heavy and large. They can take blows, giving them a higher limit of 400% dis-unity before fading away.
  
  
  
  
  The Swift: These are characters that are mobile and speedy. They're able can get in-and-out quick as lightning. This gives them the ability to attack two times in one post. Also, instead of 2, they can dodge 6 times.

  The Uze System: Each character, will hold a set number of uses. These are what players use to attack. The set-up looks like this:
  
  
  Basic attacks (Unlimited): Deal 10% dis-unity
  
  
  Heavy attacks (8 uses): Deal 20% dis-unity
  
  
  Specials (5 uses): Deal 30% dis-unity
  
  
  Block (3 Uses): Block 1 attack. Can't attack in same post.
  
  
  Dodge (2 uses): Dodge 1 attack. You may attack in the same post.
  
  
  
  
  
  • Unless using dodge, only one item and action can be taken per post.
    
  
  
• 
  
  Handler Names: These will be your RpNation user names. In essence, users will be a part of the battle. In addition to the fighters, their RpNation handlers will be on the field as well.
  
  
  
  
  
  Handler Appearance: Can either use your RpN avatar, or choose another. If you choose a picture of a Unicorn, your handler will have the appearance of a unicorn.
  
  
  
  
  
  Handler Details: Handlers cannot be killed; nor can they fight. When their player loses, they automatically exit battle and become a spectator. Before they are ejected, they may choose another player, and give them 30% dis-unity.
  
  
• Dominance, is a persona's claim to fame. It is a physical representation of why they're the best. Whether it be Goku's Spirit Bomb, or Eren's Titan Transformation, releasing Dominance gives one reason to be feared...and targeted.
  
  
  
  
  Dis-unity, are disturbances that tear players away from Jirachi's created world.
  
  
  Tenacious, is the name of the path characters walk, when they begin taking out other players. The more obstacles they conquer, the more tenacious they become.
  
  
• Dominance, is what gets a handler and their player ahead. If you're lucky enough to get it, kudos. Just be-careful about who you use it on..it could come back to bite you. As a flexible super-charge, it fits in and around any way a handler and their character likes to play. Dominance comes in four different flavors:
  
  
  
  Refresh Dominance: Feel the power! But don't let it go all at once. Pace yourself for the long battle ahead. Add 3 uses to every category for your player. (It can go past your max).
  
  
  
  
  Narrow Dominance: Focus your strike onto one player. Hit them with 70% dis-unity.
  
  
  
  
  Wide Dominance: Spread out your attack to affect everyone around you. Hit all other players with 40% dis-unity.
  
  
  
  
  Heal Dominance: Use the surging energy to help yourself, instead of hurting others. Heal 80% dis-unity.

  • Unlike items, Dominance must be used right away.
    
  • A player/handler can have more than one Dominance moves listed to reflect how they use it. Example: Super Punch (Narrow), Super Breath (Wide), Super Prayer (Refresh), etc. Having one is okay too. Example, Super Transformation (Covers Narrow, Wide, Refresh, and Heal). Having more than one, is a personal preference.
    
  • Dominance, cannot be dodged or blocked like normal attacks. Only through the use of items such as The Teachings: Clairvoyance, or the Flying Nimbus, can it be avoided.

  With each kill, a player steadily become stronger, as their body learns to overcome pain, and how to manifest a hero's true power. The path is as follows.
  
  
  1. 1st kill. Heal 20% and +2 to all uses.
     
  2. 2nd kill. Heal 30% and +3 to all uses.
     
  3. 3rd kill. Heal 40% and +4 to all uses.
     
  4. 4th skill. Heal 50% and +5 to all uses.
     
  5. 5th kill. Heal 60% and +6 to all uses.
     
  6. 6th kill. Heal 70% and +7 to all uses.
     
  7. 7th kill. Heal 80% and +8 to all uses.
     
  8. 8th kill. Heal 90% and +9 to all uses.
     
  9. 9th kill. Heal 100% and +10 to all uses.
     
  10. 10th kill. Heal 110% and +11 to all uses.
      
  
  
  
  • Kills go to the person who gave the final blow!

  1. Once a player reaches 300% dis-unity, or 400% for Colossal class, they are ejected!
     
  2. When a player is ejected, their handler can choose another player, and give them 30% dis-unity before dissapearing!
     
  3. Items drop every 4th post. Dominance drops every 7. Depending on the post before, the item will go to a player alive at random.
     
  4. Attacks automatically hit! ! Crazy right? If you don't dodge or block, you're getting hit.
     
  5. In the app, handlers will choose 1 item from the list to start out with.
     
  6. Those not posting in a reasonable amount of time, will be shocked by the created world, taking 20% dis-unity and their turn skipped.
     
  7. With each kill, walk further down the path of the tenacious.
