You are now Behind the Seal
The World Map
WIP
Not much is known of The First. In fact, even his name isn't known to most. All that is known is that he was a street rat and the only person that knows the name of The First is Bookie. Most of The First's life is shrouded in mystery and legend. From what is known of him though, he wasn't one to exalt himself over the others he recruited. He saw himself as equal with them, the same way he felt all people should be seen as equals. IT was his humility that made it easy for people to want to follow him and believe in his ideals. Those ideals form the very foundation that The Seal now stands on.
As for how one man with a dream birthed an organization that has caused the rise and fall of kingdoms and empires, it was all a matter of talking to the right people. The First grew up on rough streets and so everyone he grew up with knew how to fight. He gathered them together, the only people he could call his friends, and painted them a picture of this dream. Not all bought into it both those who did began to train. They'd sneak into the training grounds of the guards and learn how to fight by watching them train. However, watching them train also helped them find weaknesses in the guards patrols and training.
Then, it was time for them to strike. They'd grown up in Gulmyra and the new Duchess was every type of cruel known to man. They decided that they would start with her. Late one night, they broke into the manor and by the end of that night, the Duchess was dead. No letter or seal or mark was left, just a dead Duchess. This victory came easy for them and it taught them the power they could control and so they got ambitious, set their sights higher. And then, one day, they attempted an attack on the King of Aethe. However, they quickly learned that a king has greater defenses than a Duchy. The attack was successful, but just barely. One of his friends was trapped on the wrong end of a sword and The First had to intervene. In the squabble, his friend got badly injured and had to be carried out of the palace on The First's back. When they arrived home, they realised that the injury was worse than it at first seemed - his friend would never be able to walk again. However, he still wanted to help. So he would handle information trade to better support his friends. Eventually, the others took to calling him Bookie.
They'd gone strong for a couple years, choosing targets carefully and never over-extending. However, others would always get blamed (or, depending on how you look at it, take the credit) for their assassinations. Eventually, Bookie came up with an idea to have a trademark. Something to leave at every scene so that nobody else could take the credit. This was the seal. A crimson red seal with ornate designs around a dagger. A mark of death. The problem with this was that people started killing random civilians and leaving the same seal. And so Bookie, The First and the others started leaving the seal before the assassination was done: a promise of death that nobody else could give because none could guarantee a kill the way they could.
Everything that started then: the seal, Bookie, choosing specific targets it all continues to this day, like a baton passed from one generation to the next. And now that baton rests in our hands.

Hi friends! Welcome to my medieval-fantasy RP. As stated in the lore section above, this RP revolves around those that are considered "Behind the Seal". You will either be playing as one of these people, someone trying to become one of them, or someone standing in opposition to them, all roles are allowed.
This is also a plot-based RP, and so expect a lot of discussion and planning in the OOC. You will go on missions, form bonds with other characters (hopefully) and, ultimately, decide the fate of everyone Behind the Seal.
I tried to cover as much as I could above, but feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
Looking for anywhere from 7 to 10 people. Characters will be selected by best-fit, not first come first served. So shoot your shot, whether only one person has responded or fifty people.
Good hunting
