Appearance: Medium build, with lines beginning to show on his face, and thinning brown hair that is beginning to grey. Dr. Howard can typically be seen wearing a dark colored button down shirt covered with an accent colored sweater vest with a pair of ironed brown trousers. His sleeves were normally rolled up to his elbows and his black oxfords shined slightly in even the dimmest light. Around his neck, was a pair of glasses that he only used for reading. His icy grey eyes gave away the false sense of security and warmth that his smile showed. He always has a cane with him for his limp, due to his left leg injury.

History: Dr. Howard has a Master's and PhD in Psychology, specializing abnormal psychology and internal medicine. Transferring to John's Hopkins after finishing his undergraduate schooling at Dartmouth, he not only became the Chief Psychological Resident, but taught several courses at the University in different areas; including developmental psychology, abnormal psychology and English. One day there was a horrific car accident involving Howard and his wife and children, where a drunk driver lost control of his car during a stormy night. The truck t-boned the passenger side killing his wife instantly and slamming the car against a telephone pole, his oldest son's head cracked through the window due to the impact. This impact caused the pole to topple on top of the car and Dr. Howard attempted to struggle to the back seat where his younger daughter was. But it was too late, as he watched her life fade away as her blood drained from the gash on her side, due to part of the door stabbing her. This accident caused the man to throw himself into his work, where his deeply hidden mental illness started to show. Sensing this, he requested to be sent to Alcatraz, that was newly opened. During the beginning years of Alcatraz, several students had gone missing and rumors floated around that Dr. Howard was the cause but it couldn't be proven.

Personality: Before the accident, he was a charming and humble man, who would've given you the shirt off his back if he knew it would have helped. After the accident, he became bitter, cynical and manipulative. Luring one into a false sense of security only to destroy their sense of humanity.

Anything else posed as useful: He obtained his mind-reading powers during the accident, after he lost consciousness and was pronounced clinically dead for five minutes. Miraculously, they were able to revive him and along with minor motor skill damage, leaving him with partial loss of movement in his left leg, it also unlocked a part of his brain that now allowed him to read minds. Due to this, he now experiments on others that show signs of abnormality in order to figure how the powers come about.

Break has black and white hair and is almost always sent wearing dark clothes with a long old English styled trench coat. His hair covers the left side of his face, barely hiding the eye patch covering his left eye. He has pale skin and long arms.

History: Break grew up in an abusive household. His father always bringing home 'clients from work' or 'friends' both men and women. His mother a run down housewife, no longer good for her husband and beaten at a moments time for no reason. Once his father deemed his mother no longer worthy of his 'love' he set his sights on Break. Break was abused and raped for years until he turned 17 and he couldn't take it anymore. He had set fire to his high school and then to his home, which included his mother and father both, within minutes of each other. He spent a year on the streets before officials from Alcatraz found him and brought him to the school.

Personality: From the outside, Break seems like a carefree character, never serious and always smiling. When needs be, however, Break shows his dangerous and evil side. He dislikes large crowds, group projects, being told he is wrong and loud people. He like to read, write, being left alone, and cats.

Anything else posed as useful: He often finds cats in the wild and sneaks them back into the dorms. The voices in his head often leads him to starting small fires, and stopping time in order to fuck with others.

Appearance:

History:
Reizo has had a... difficult life. He was born into poverty with his lovely sister, and it was them against the world. However, there was a little strain, Reizo being the favorite of the poor family.
He was six when it happened. They hadn't eaten in over two weeks, and it was his birthday. He wasn't expecting much, maybe a little song and maybe he'd get to go outside later than usual.
He walked in to find a quite lovely surprise! The room was decorated, with decorations he'd never even imagined, things that glittered and sparkled even in the dim light of their shed.
Also, there was a beautiful cake- it made his mouth water. He started crying, because he knew he was dreaming. This could not be true.
But if he was imagining it, his sister would be there- and she wasn't there.
He tore into the cake with his parents, and once he licked the rest of the sugary icing off his fingers, he asked where she was- he wanted to save the last slice for her.
His parents shared a look, and he sat there, rigid, as they explained the predicament.
"She was sick." They said.
He knew, he knew.
"Well, it was your birthday, and..."
What, what? Spit it out already!
"We got 400 dollars for her, love. Don't worry, we got her back- when they were done. We then used her body for the-"
His mom slapped his shoulder for sharing too much, and he looked down at the cake.
It was red velvet, right? There's no way they could-
and then he saw the ribbon.

Shortly after, Reizo was taken into CPS.
The misery didn't start there- he got a brief break from it before the pain really started.
He aged out of care, relatively normal. He got suspended many times from school, but always came back. His Illusionsary powers really stepped up them, and saved his ass from a lot.
Fast forward- college. He fell in love with the most beautiful woman. She was kind, smart, funny, sweet. She became his everything, and made him heal. He loved the way the sun looked when in came up, shining it's rays on her lovely skin, which he'd covered with his kisses.
He loved how she'd awaken from her slumber with a content, sleepy smile on her face, looking at him like he was her world- it was the same way he looked at her.
They had one lovely child, a baby girl. He named her Alice, after his sister, and his love for the story, Alice in Wonderland.
But, his wife just got sicker and sicker- and Reizo rushed through his education, his college, searching for a cure, for anything to save his dear wife. She saved him- he had to save her. He couldn't imagine a life without her. It was not possible, impossible, to view the dawn without her by his side.
He watched her fade away, wasting, decomposing, until the final moment when she looked up, glass eyes suddenly clear for once. She exhaled a shaky sigh, and her eyes closed for the final time.
He grieved for her- and still does. But the story doesn't stop there...
Alice was 15 when she commited suicide. She left a long letter explaining why, and the last of Reizo's light left the world.
And Nothing was ever quite the same.

Personality:
Demented and twisted, some say Reizo belongs in an asylum- not as a doctor, but behind the bars, in a cage. However, his doctoring skills are superb, the best in the nation, and perhaps that helps him stay out from behind those bars.
He tends to do more harm than good, but still, he's hard to get rid off. He finds pleasure in other people's pain, and he loves to see the fear in their eyes. He's manipulative, violent, and cruel. He wasn't always this way, but circumstance made him cold, and twisted him so much he doesn't see the world in color anymore.
He'll never cry or show pain in public, just an arrogant smile. If he doesn't like the way paitents treat him, he's been known to get physical- slamming them against walls, refusing their food and such, and sometimes even going so far to take them for some "check-ups."
They typically don't return from these check-ups, and the few that do are even worse off, babbling about eyes in the dark and "Save Alice" and other mindless statements.
As far as the world can see, there is no light in Reizo- only darkness, an eternal abyss. But sometimes, sometimes, someone might imagine it, but there seems to be a bit of tenderness hidden in those dark eyes of his.
There is no in between with Reizo's relationships with others- they either hate him or love him. Either way, he doesn't really care.

The Mark of Reizo:
It's pretty much a death sentence- or so the other patients think. Whenever Reizo takes a liking to a patient, he'll make them- by kissing them- and suddenly he'll bite down hard on the side of their lip, making it bleed. This will leave a silver scar on the side of their lip, impossible to miss- so everyone knows that patient is his- in every way.

Other:
Sometimes, Reizo can be heard talking to someone in the halls. But when they look, nobody is there.
All you here is the echo of a kid's laughter, and the muted voices of a lover.
It's assumed it's his illusions, to in love with the past to let go fully.

Appearance: A well built man standing 6 foot 4 inch's tall, he has short brown hair and moderately tan skin with sharp gray eyes, he typically wears a white shirt and black trousers typically covered by a white lab coat.

History: having grown up in london John was the youngest of five siblings, when he was young his family was killed in a robbery gone bad, that resulted in the death of his whole family plus the robbers. It was when he was stabbed through the chest that he discovered his power, as he recovered from the injury instantly and in a fit of rage caused the dead bodies of his siblings to mutate into a twisted nightmarish beast that proceeded to kill the robbers. Afterwards he grew up alone using his inheritance to go to the London royal college of physicians where he got a PhD in biology, afterward he went to work for many hospitals across the country. His whole life he had tried to supress his powers until he started to work in hospitals, where he started to practice making working body parts out of the dead bodies that the hospital had, in time, with practice he found he could replicate functioning human organs but each time he would almost get caught and have to move on now he wants to find a place where he can work and use his power without worry.

Personality: a hard-faced man with a heart of gold he likes to help others but has a distain for those who like to kill, also if made angry will mutate all available organic material into monsters to attack, never kills anyone himself, cant bring himself to do surgery.

History: Hecate was.. raised differently than other children. At the age of 3, he was sold of to the mafia as his parents were in so much debt. At 5, Hecate was starting to be trained to be a killer later for the Mafia. Over those next 5 years, Hecate was taught to use almost any weapon, it being guns or sharp objects, to kill or incapitate people. The only way he could learn all of that, is because of some special things that helped him. A few months ago, however, Hecate was caught and stored in anything that could hold him. After him almost escaping at so many prisons, he was finally sent here.

Personality: Very quiet, and whenever he speaks it’s in a whisper; doesn’t convey emotions very well, as he was taught to hide them when killing as they got in the way

History: Lucious is mostly well known online, with police reports of college students and a few high schoolers reported of commiting suicide. In every case, Lucious is pointed to causing it as there is almost always his name in the crime scene in someway, shape, or form.

Personality: Silent in front of adults and superiors or any form of authority, in front of equals or people below him he can be described as dark and un-nerving.

Name: McKenna Lily

Nickname (Labels): Burden, attention seeker, Mind reader

Student/Patient: Patient. Just got here, and doesn't intend to be here long.

Reason sent to Alcatraz: She wants to commit suicide, and she will let nothing stand in her way. Not even her little brother.

Knesis/Psychic Power: A completely photographic memory, and inconsistent mind reading. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Appearance: Here

History: Everything was normal until McKenna was 10. Somehow she developed severe depression, and became suicidal. There was no explanation. And nothing worked. No pills, no counselling, things looked hopeless. McKenna can't remember how many times she's tried to end it all. There have been too many. And she feels no guilt for any of them. Suicide is her end goal. Then she will be free. When she loses it, she loses it all the way. She doesn't remember anyone around her, and she's hurt her friends a time or two. Nothing will get in her way.
The only bright spot left in McKenna's life was her friends. She had the kindest friends anyone could ask for. They love her, they took care of her.... until they got it in their minds that she was doing this for attention. It was the only logical explanation to them. And one by one.... they all left. The rejection McKenna felt was insane.
She tried one last time to set herself free, but her 5 year old brother, Samuel, stood in the way. Having lost it, she molested him, and then strangled him until he died. She feels a huge amount of guilt for this. She wasn't in her right mind. She LOVED Samuel. But now he's dead, and McKenna's parents sent her far, far away.

Personality: McKenna is an ambivert who is fueled by spending time with close friends. When she is in her right mind, McKenna is cute, sweet, generous, chatty, and empathetic. She wouldn't want to hurt anyone ever, and she cares for this she loves more than herself. But she's in her right mind less and less now. When depression's claimed her, she's morbid, selfish, driven by her motives, sexually confused, lacking empathy, and self destructive. She will hurt you to get what she wants.

Anaïs has been sent to Alcatraz by her aunt. She was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

Knesis/Psychic Power:
Mental Scramble - Anaïs power goes beyond simply jumbling others’ thoughts. Her power can cause brain damage and other mental handicaps such a inducing dyslexia and prosopagnosia, make it hard for them to separate fiction from reality, or cause mental breakdown. As a result her overall brain functions stronger and more resilient to brain damage.

Appearance:
Anaïs is tall for her age, she’s five feet two inches and weighs around hundred and eighteen pounds. She’s has a willowy body with slightly muscles from dancing and gymnastics. Anaïs has a head full of large, curly black hair. Her eyes are black in color and she has mahogany toned skin.

History:
Anaïs was born to a church pastor and school teacher. She lived with her parents and three older siblings in a modest sized house. They seemed like the perfect family, their children made good grades and were involved in clubs and the community. Her parents were happily married and in love. Beneath the facade the family had problem that they kept secret. Their youngest child had mental problems. They only believed that she was seeking attention or being dramatic. There were times when Anaïs was happy, a ray of sunshine who was full of life. On other days she was brooding and miserable. On those days she stayed in her room. She was prone to snapping at others or completely shutting people out. It was common for her to go into violent rages where she destroyed things around her.

Her family chose to ignore the signs. They refused to acknowledge that their little girl was sick. For years her illness went untreated. Anaïs doesn’t exactly know where her powers came from but she remembered how they came about. Anaïs had been having one of her bad days. One of her grandparents had grabbed her shoulder to scold her after she’d broke some fine china. It started with her losing her train of thought and ended with her forgetting about Anaïs completely. The doctors said that it was Alzheimer's Disease.

A similar incident happened with her father, but he had developed severe anxiety. No one knew what what happening. Analysts was eventually sent

to live with her aunt once people noticed something odd happening with her family. Her aunt recognized her illness and sent her to Alcatraz for proper help.

Personality:
Anaïs is someone who keeps to herself. She has a love for all things dealing with dance and gymnastics. She has been told that she’s somewhat unapproachable because of her resting face, which is a scowl. Anaïs is a curious girl, it has gotten her into trouble a few times. She isn’t someone who is naive or too trusting, she’s good at reading others. Anaïs is outspoken. She doesn’t let others walk all over her. During her good days Anaïs is full of life. She goes out and enjoys herself, but she’s prone to acting more reckless. On her bad days Anaïs has a temper. She breaks things and throws tantrums. Other times she goes into a depressive state.

Appearance: He's about 6'1" and average weight, boasting an athletic frame and thick dark hair. He has a beard that he keeps pretty closely trimmed, but still covers his full face. Blue eyes. While at work he wears a three-piece suit, but when off the job he prefers jeans and a tee-shirt

History: Jim's powers didn't manifest until late in life. He was always an underachiever, something that caused a lot of strain with his type-A parents. They would always belittled and heckle him for wanting to work in the humanities or maybe just skip college altogether, "You'll never have any money and you'll just die alone." Now the tipping point of when his powers activated, he isn't 100% sure. He felt odd things happening around him, people acting strangely, and in the way, he would want them to. The point at which he realized his powers himself was in a particularly nasty fight with his parents, they lost all ability to form coherent sentences. They only regained the ability once he left. While trying to experiment with his powers, he found he could turn them in on himself. While he was always a pretty bright guy, he found he could increase his own intelligence. Due to his confidence and charm, he was able to get the position. Dr. Howard knows the truth but is letting it slide for now, mostly because he does get his paperwork done somehow.

Personality: He is very confident, almost to the point of cockiness, this trait carries over no matter who he thinks he is. His charm also carries over.

History: Haiden has always been the black sheep of the family. When he was small he would inflict pain on himself to test if he felt pain. He was always testing because he has always felt this deep numbness. He has been hospitalized before for these same reasons. His family always feared him unknowing of what he would do next. One day when he was twelve, he tortured the family dog on the kitchen floor by cutting it open and removing his insides one at a time. His father, mother, and brother and sister ran down the stairs to find the source of screeches they were hearing and witnessed the site of the family dogs organs scattered across the floor and Haiden sat next to the dog covered in blood. After that, Haiden was ignored by the family this drove him into isolation at school and at home. Everyone at his school found him strange and never made eye contact with him. Eventually, his anger and delusions consumed and he killed his family sending him here.

Personality: He only has a dark side which is why they call him "Hyde". He hears the darkness talk to him and tell him things that may or may not be true. He has serious anger issues and when he is upset he loses control of his powers. Most people find him strange, he stares at people even when they notice. History:
Adrian was raised in a devout family. Christian, to the point of insanity. His parent's had a single rule while raising their only child; To suffer was to know gods gift. So it was since the age of three, they would routinely beat their son. Not only when he was in trouble, but indeed when he proved intelligent. From the ages of three to nine, they would only use blunt instruments. However, as he grew, they deemed his suffering to small, and began to use spiked chains, always covering up the scars on his back with clothing when out and about. Their outward appearance was that of a regular family, though Adrian dreaded every day after sundown, knowing full well what awaited him at home.

Adrian managed to endure all his beatings with hope. Hope that once he was 18, he would be able to escape his life of living hell, and finally be able to make his way in the world. The night of his birthday came, and to his surprise, his parents told him that he would no longer be beaten, that he had graduated to a higher form of punishment. Little did he know that they had recieved a 'vision,' and that he planned something far worse. He drank a celebratory soda, a rarity in his up bringing, only to find himself dazed and confused. He woke up to a room he had never seen, on top of an alter. He saw his parents, in hooded robes, bring in a hammer and three nails. His father spoke, explaining that he would join their god in heaven, and suffer through what their savior had. In a fight of absolute terror, something awoke inside him. Before he knew what he was doing, the spikes drove into his mother and father's heads. He was sent to an institution the next day, after he turned himself in.
Personality:
As a result of his violent past, Adrian is very cold, and has a very real depressive disorder. While it is not always heavy, it is definitely present in him always. He is quiet, reserved, and very slow to trust anyone. The unintentional weight of his family's murder still weighs on his mind. He is passive to the point of self destruction, and will never put up a fight unless someone close to him is in dire need. He is very well aware of his powers, and their deadliness, and actively tries to repress his abilities.

Some people are still not sure if Amelia can actually see the dead or if it is her schizophrenia that is causing these visions, but in the past, she has spoken the names of a few students who have disappeared from the institution.

(Second): Amelia is able to use telekinesis to pick up, throw, and attack people with whatever is around her. She has also been known to make some items disappear into what some call 'the void'.

No item pulled into the void has been seen again so far and some believe that is is possible that Amelia had pulled her parents into the void on the night they had vanished.

History

Amelia grew up with a loving family, they tried to help her with her schizophrenia the best they could and they made sure she was always well protected. Well, maybe too well protected, they kept her locked away from the world, not wanting anything to happen to their little doll- I mean daughter.

Amelia was kept locked in the basement, which wasn't bad by any point. She had a bedroom down there and her own little kitchen and bathroom, plus she was allowed to come out at night for a few hours to clean the house.

By the age of fourteen, Amelia found herself faking to take the heavy dose medication her so 'loving' parents shoved down her throat and not too long after all hell broke loose in the household. A few days later, Amelia was found by a family friend, which didn't even know that the family had a daughter, and called the cops. Who in return quickly turned Amelia over to the institution.

History:
Carina was born in Sicily to a lawyer and a entrepreneur. Her mother was from Bridgetown, Barbados and had met her father during a vacation. The two of them immediately hit it off and kept contact once he left for his home. They were close friends up until college, where they met once again. After graduating they married and had Carina a few years later, along with her younger brother.


Carina had a privileged life, she went to the best schools and got the best clothes. She wanted for nothing. In school she made good grades. Her love for theatre and the preforming arts flourished. She got involved in her school’s drama club and in community theatre. Her powers came on handy during plays and other performances. It wasn’t until turned sixteen that she realized that she was different. When others would come to her upset or if she was just around someone in a particularly bad mood she’d feel it as if it were her own emotions. In the beginning she dismissed it but after her brother and father had gotten into a intense argument Carina remembered wanting them to stop. After shouting this they stopped, in fact they stated that they felt like the anger has been drained from them.

After that Carina took the time to learn about her abilities and control them. Life went on and she received a full ride to a performing arts college. Where she received Bachelors degree theatre arts and music. Carina them moved on to teaching what she loves.

Personality:
Given her abilities it’s normal for Carina to be a compassionate person. She’s someone who doesn’t mind lending a listening ear or shoulder to cry on. If needed she’ll give advice to those who need it. Carina isn’t a pushover though, she’s learned to steel herself and control her own emotions. There are times where she’s hard to read. Appearance:
Silver gained her nickname from her main defining trait - her long, tangled hair. It falls almost to her waist in thick silver waves, and almost always has a twig, a bit or mud (or blood), or a few leaves in it. She's messy and she doesn't care. She has albinism, which means she has a complete absence of melanin (The pigment that gives you freckles / tan / dark skin}, so her skin is really pale. She also gets sunburn really easily because of this, so her normal clothing style of "littlest clothes + heaviest boots possible" is not exactly a wise choice (Does Silver care? Haha, no).

An example of something she would wear would be ripped up black denim shorts, a black tanktop that bares her midriff and contrasts with the unnatural paleness of her skin (and shows off her rather large breasts, but mention that to her and she'll just be really confused), and heavy knee length black boots with red laces that match her round crimson eyes.

She's tall for a girl at five foot nine inches tall, and she's slender with it (despite her love of sweets, probably due to how much she runs around all the time). She has toned muscles from a lifetime of climbing trees and running.

History:
Silver discovered her...Talents at the tender age of five, a lonely child sitting at the edge of the school playground and finding comfort in the senseless babble of the pair of blackbirds living in the nearby bushes. None of her peers dared to get close to the strange, red eyed girl who watched them all with that quiet intensity. It didn't help that she had no family - her parents and siblings being murdered in front of her less than a year beforehand, so she was living in a foster placement with cold, unloving people.

The death of her family most likely affected the girl's mental health in some way that wouldn't be obvious until much later, and was also a large part of the reason why she refused to hear her birth name. She grew into a happy, playful girl who always seemed just a little...Unnerving. Animalistic. Especially as her contact with other humans lessened and lessened, the teen spending all her time with cats dogs - rabbits, birds - foxes, wolves. Slowly, her human nature faded, and she stopped going to school. Then she stopped going home at night, sleeping rough in the forest, believing she had finally found the place that she could call Home.

And that's when people tried to drag her back, force her back into her human life, her human self. Silver refused to accept this, fighting and snapping - and then she killed someone. Following what other animals did, she ate most of the corpse, and found herself enjoying the taste. So she did it again, and again, and again, always running, moving, not staying in one place. When she first killed someone, she was seventeen. When she finally got caught and sent to Alcatraz, she was nineteen and had killed fifty three people.

Personality:
Her personality is seemingly at odds with her background. She's naive (all dirty jokes go straight over her head, and she's ridiculously trusting), friendly, and seems to be really willing to just open up to people, but then when you spend more time with her...Yikes.

Silver has a short, explosive temper, and will lash out at people - even those she likes - over the smallest thing. Her actions seem to hold a sort of animal like quality to them, many of her reactions being far from the human norm. When upset, she often snaps and growls at people, and sometimes makes a small purring noise when content. Silver has no idea of personal space, and happily cuddles up to people whenever she can, being confused if they complain.
Much of the time, it seems as if she doesn't understand that her actions are wrong, and Silver has difficulties feeling empathy for other people.

Marisol genuinely cares for the kids, treating them as her own. She doesn't like the fact that the kids are locked away, but she does what she can, showing comfort and hoping one day the kids will be able to function with society. She tends to forget things sometimes, for unexplained reasons, but it doesn't bother her too much. Marisol doesn't have a problem with most experiments, as they tend to leave little evidence of harm, and has no idea on the crueler ones. Sometimes she'll get this feeling that she's done something like this before, and gets the feeling their hiding something darker in the facility, but she can't seem to find any evidence. It's like it's on the tip of her tongue...
She feels actual anguish for these kids. They've been through so much, and being locked away doesn't help. She tells herself it's for their own good but... something feels wrong. If only she could remember what...
She typically does simple things, drawing blood, temperatures, graphing and charts; but she also does experiments as well, though they aren't as bad as some. She's just doing her job, and believes what she's doing will help. Tears fill her eyes when the kids wince from shots, and sometimes, she can hear screams from somewhere- but everyone tells her it's just their past making them scream, not actual pain.
However, she does find bruises and scars that the kids claim from evil experiments. She wants to believe them with all her heart, but there just isn't enough evidence.

History: Luc had a good home, then he left. More accurately, he was pulled out by his father. His dad had served in Korea with distiction and the army was calling him back in. Not to serve mind you, to train new recruits. Luc could have stayed in America with family, but father thought it would do him good to see war up close, toughen up those soft hands. Luc got experience the horrors of war first hand without even enlisting. The boys doing the actual fighting had it worse in alot of ways, but at least they had their brothers to lean on. They had purpose, they were needed. A particularly bad bombing left him injured. He ended up being sent back home for treatment. Recovery left him with a limp in his left leg. But it wasn't all terrible, as he found that he had the ability to make other people tell him what they desire.
With this newfound power, Luc made a life for himself by learning what the people around him wanted and providing it for them. In return these people would provide him with other services, forming a sort of entourage around him. He became well known in his neighbourhood as the man to come to if you needed something. Almost like a crossroads demon or a godfather. Of course it had to come tumbling down around him. A raid on his place, a bad flashback and several dead policemen later, he found himself on a hot date with justice. He wasn't able to escape conviction, but a few favors called in and he got himself in Alcatraz instead of federal prison. It's suppose to be tempory, but with each passing year he's not so sure.

Suzie has an extreme case of bipolar and aggressive tendencies. She is always humming a happy tune and grinning like a fool, and her smile only falls when her victims die on her. She is smart, but only uses her knowledge for killing. She enjoys feeling pain, often sewing patterns into her skin with red thread. Even better- soft skin! And oh, the variety...
Ryuu ate a lot of people. And she didn't hide the blood on the walls, either.
In Fiji, people ate like animals- which was fitting, since Ryuu was raised by beasts, after all. But in american, you could prepare them all in different ways- she was in heaven. Ryuu murdered 19 people over the course of several years- but that's not counting the woman who were pregnant, or all the animals as well.

Desire manipulation: Ryuu gives off a scent that typically draws people near her- it changes from person to person. If a person loves strawberries, to them, it will smell like the most tantalizing strawberry, nearly impossible to resist. The closer in proximity to her, the harder it is to say no to what she wants, though it isn't impossible.
Another ability of hers is that she secretes a hormone in her saliva that sends hearts racing with adrenaline, and it can drastically increase arousal levels. Of course, it has to get in the other person's system- like kissing.

In west Philadelphia, born and raised,
Ryuu was born in Fiji, in the woods. Her parents raised her in the wilderness, until they were shot down by men looking for slave trades, when she was around 6. However, wolves quickly came to her rescue- perhaps it was due to the scent she gave off, or simply they were hungry for the corpses- they killed the men looking to sell her. From that moment on she lived in a pack, and she bonded well with them. They hunted and killed together, and they became like her siblings. Her ability to attract men and animals was highly valued and protected.
When she was 13 she decided to leave the pack for better things- like the human tribes. She fit in pretty well, and ate a lot of people. Soon she grew bored, and left Fiji completely; but it was somewhat difficult. She would miss her wolven brothers, their feral ways and muted growls, not to mention their keen ability to take down prey.
Personality:
Seductive, flirty, and bold- not to mention slightly possessive. She literally has no filter, and doesn't care if people don't like her- she likes them. She finds humans absolutely tantalizing, and loves how every one is different, how they all react differently to her abilities. Some are easier than others, but she loves the harder ones, the ones that put up a fight. It gives her the adrenaline at the prospect of a difficult hunt.
As for settling down- highly improbable. She wants what she wants- and once she lays her eyes one someone, she won't stop until she gets them. However, she is still searching for a mate. She has super high standards, so they have to be physically attractive, and put up a fight. She hasn't found a single person with both qualities yet.
Does she have a sweet side? Probably not. She doesn't seem to get sad sometimes, only irritable. She dislikes kids generally, but she's always ready to welcome anyone a part of her "pack" if they seem to have promising qualities. Ryuu wants to spread the joy- of eating people.
What really gets her is when she's hunting with someone- it multiplies her desire levels by a lot- so you'll often see her red-faced and flirty. It's like her own personal alcohol, usually around 50%, but with someone by her side, it's easily 200%.

The Butcher's leader was absolutely smitten with her and insisted that she was to stay alive.

The organization was where she grew up, she even had her own room with no bars anywhere to be seen. She had a good life with the Butchers, she was treated just like she was one of them. She was homeschooled by the leader, one of the smartest men she had met, who posed as her father and acted much like one, even though he had aggressive tendencies. This man's name was Adam.

Adam tried as hard as he could to spoil her. She got most of the things she wanted, she even had a katana collection. But he never gave her any information on her old family. Once she was old enough, she was recruited into the Butchers. She stayed with them until she was able to go to college. Just a few days before her first day of school, someone in the Butchers had told her that she had a brother and that he was going to bed school as well. She decided to follow him into the craft, knowing that she would find him. Med school turned into college, college turned into her first job, being at Alcatraz.
Personality:
Augustine is shy in a large group of people she doesn't know, often not talking. On the other hand, if she knows most of the people in the group, she is talkative and boisterous. She is actually a quite confident person, loves to take the lead in any situation, but often has trouble accepting that she won't always have control. Augustine is not one to wear a dress or a skirt. She likes to wear what she feels comfortable in, such as shorts and a T-shirt. She loves being surrounded by friends and coffee, along with kittens and Chinese food. She is secretly afraid of escalators. ​

History: Growing up with his ungifted older brother, Atticus learned that he wasn't normal very quickly. While children loved him to tell them what they were thinking, everyone else saw him as a freak of nature. When the local gang decided to attack his brother, Act decided to get some revenge. That "revenge" turned into overkill. having an out-of-body experience right after didn't help convince authorities he was sane. Although they were grateful for getting rid of a good portion of the gang, they sent him to Alcatraz to prevent any more "incidents."

Personality: Atticus is actually quite kind, mostly to young children and those who don't acknowledge him as a freak. Practically the embodiment of "treat others the way you want to be treated" - treat him well, he will do the same to you. He will ignore fellow classmates/patients if treated in an unkindly manner and even some faculty.

Anything else posed as useful: Act knows how to shoot a pistol with pristine accuracy. He also knows how to knife fight. Both a pistol with several empty cartridges and a knife were found at the scene of the gang murder. EDIT: His brother's name is Orion and he can only read minds if the person who's mind he is trying to read lets him.

Reason sent to Alcatraz: They found the house on fire. His parents and siblings dead in there beds. They found the boy asleep in his bed. Matches on his bedside table. No sign of smoke inhalation, an almost impossibility. They think he set the house on fire. Waited. Then went to bed to kill himself. He swears blind that he Didn’t do it. But the matches found by his Bedside say different.

Knesis/ Psychic Power: Jason’s sleeping mind is much more powerful than his conscious mind. It has the ability to kill those who hurt him. They have to have physically hurt him over a long period of time, or have emotionally hurt him. They have to be within a distance Jason’s body can physically get to, and they have to be the recipient of a deep seated hatred. Jason cannot magically kill. He can only kill if he he the right tools at his disposal, just like a conscious killer.

Jason can also lead his physical body when he’s being hurt. He can’t use doors or move objects, but can see spirits when he’s away from his body. He finds it stops the pain.

Appearance:
A tiny little blonde sprout of a boy. It's obvious that he doesn't fit in here. His blue eyes are a picture of his innocence. Yet he's angry he's angry at what's happened. This resonates on his bewildered face. He's short and skinny. He bears the bruises all over his body of his step fathers belt.

History:
Jason lived a happy life with his mother until he was around 12 years old. His mother met a man who seemed nice until she married him. Then he turned evil. His mother was beaten into such submission that she started to believe Jason needed beating too. The mother and step father had two twins. The step father was loving and doting to them, but would treat Jason in the opposite manner, beating he and his mother to within an inch of their lives. Daily, weekly, ,monthly.

Jason grew up to be a timid and fragile adult, still stuck in that house. Unable to move or run away. He grew up scared and angry. That was when the house burnt itself down. Jason can't say he's not a little pleased it did, but angry that he's being blamed.

It’s transpired that Jason had done it in his sleep. Completely out of character, and he didn’t even wake. He doesn’t even remember doing it. He struck a match or two and set the house on fire, before meandering back upstairs to sleep, his room being just far enough away from the smoke. He’d always had powerful dreams, and he’s always sleep walked, but only now has it lead to murder. His sleeping mind is a powerful being and one that needs controlling. If the institute can’t help, he’s scared he’ll be facing Death row on four counts of murder.

Personality:
Jason is nice when he's happy. He has a kind heart and an innocence that surpasses his crime. But, when he's angry, there's a sarcastic unruly side to him that comes in outbursts. He just wants to be loved, and is fragile, meek and scared. If he's not having an outburst, he's submissive and overly obedient. It's as if there are two people in his mind, that comes from his neglected life

Multiple successful murders and attempts at murder and multiple accounts of successful cannibalism and inconsistent urges to kill and violent outbursts caused by overly loud noises and areas, also attempted suicide (unsuccessfully of course)

she is an illusionist though it takes lots of focus and energy depending on the illusion and the longer she does it the more painful it gets

History:
even as a baby her home was dysfunctional, her father often came home drunk and started to beat her mother until one night when her father was particularly angry he beat the woman to death, taking baby Ollie and disappearing, teaching her to kill, and to eat what she killed, it started as animals like mice and squirrels then eventually, it became people and soon she had sharpened her teeth to razor sharp points and began to be able to distinguish different scents and a few years later her father died from alcohol poisoning leaving Ollie alone which drove her to attempt suicide which failed so she went on, at first she only killed people to eat and survive, then soon she only lived for the hunt but unfortunately was caught and sent to Alcatraz

Personality:
to those she sees as more than just a potential meal, she is like a wolf, protective but caring to those in her "pack" though to her "meals" she will come off as helpless and innocent as she stalks forward for the kill then when they least expect it, she will make the kill, usually going for the jugular
