We All Need Someone There.

The Ultimate Enigma
The day you were born and determined which gender you were wasn't the start.

The day you first went to school wasn't the start.

The day you finally made it to highschool wasn't the start.

The day you raged upon others just because they misunderstood you wasn't the start.

The day you met someone who can change your life is the start.

At least it will be.

RULES:

1. No goddmodding, or powerplaying. (Powerplay= Is when you ignore someone's action. Let's say if one person punches you, you just ignore what happened, and throw the character across the room.)

2. Please, no sexual things. Move that to PM if you must. :3 (But kissing is allowed.)

3. Don't disrespect others.

4. Don't act like you're the center of the story. (Excuse me and remind me if I end up doing that. xD )

5.ENJOY!

She woke up like she did every other morning she wiped the slight sheen of sweat from her arms and looked around the single apartment. It served it's purpose but she had to admit it would have been nice to have a room mate just for the sake of companionship. She yawned and stretched, rubbing her eyes she climbed out of bed slightly her legs over the side of the bed looking for her simple bedroom shoes. She put them n and moved on to the bathroom and used it, after she finished relieving her self she stood in front of the mirror and looked at her hair and groaned lightly. It was a rat's nest, as she walked around the small apartment she drug a brush through it trying to straighten it up a little bit so it wouldn't look so terrible. She put the brush down and put some bread in a toaster and picked the brush back up again running it through her hair once more. She moved over to her room and took out her usual outfit. A white and blue stripped tee-shirt and a pair of skinny blue jeans. She took off her night shirt as that was what she usually wore to bed when it was warmer. She slipped a simple bra on and then the tee shirt flipping he hair out from underneath it and then put the jeans on picking the brush back up she pulled it some more through her hair. Moving back to the kitchen she picked the toast from the toaster and laid it on a simple stone ware plate and took some blackberry preserves out and smeared it on the bread. She quickly at the sandwich and took a hair band out and put her hair in a simple pony tail. It was simple and her favorite thing to do with her hair. She took the key to her room and unlocked the door opening it and shutting it softly not to disturb her neighbors. She locked the door and put the key in her pocket and walked downstairs and opened the door and went outside breathing the humid warm air in and she smiled slightly and blushed as a man walking past saw her and greeted her smiling back. She immediately dropped her head hiding her face with her bangs starting the walk to the small flower shop she worked at. As she arrived she went to the back greeted her boss in a soft voice and put on her apron and walked into the store and began arranging the flowers in preparation for the days business.

Emily woke up that morning and slowly draped her legs over the side of her bed. With a determined look she stood up slowly and when she felt a little wobbly she held on to her night stand. She took one careful step, and then another until she felt fine enough to walk. With a sigh of relief she let go of the night stand and got herself dressed and ready for her doctors appointment, which meant she would have to skip school once again and tell her job that she couldn't work after school.

It was all troublesome to her. Up until this year she felt fine, and then one day she was walking home from school and just fell and didn't even try to stop herself. She scraped her chin and knee up pretty good and went to the doctor to get those cleaned. And every now and then she finds it a little hard to walk, and some days she feels just fine. Today was one of those days, but she still had to go see a doctor to see what was causing this suddenly.

After getting dressed and eating breakfast she headed on out towards the hospital. It was a nice day out and she didn't mind the loud construction work nearby. People who knew her on the street greeted her and she greeted them back. It was always the same.

Alex woke up, and faceplanted on the floor with her pillow. "Meh...!" She slowly got up, and stretched. "Great... I have the stupid night shift today... Stupid Mofos are going to go loco tonight..." She chuckled at her own words. Then she straightened her face at the thought of Keenan. Alex moved her body to her dresser, and pulled out some nice clothes. She put on ripped skinney jeans, a purple and black tank-top, and some short-shorts. Since today was going to be hot, she chose that garment, and sat on the couch, watching T.V. Boredly.

Drake grunted as he woke up, his golden gaze dim. His eyes narrowed and he willed his slender, tall body out of bed. He scratched at his bare chest with a grunt before lazily trailing into the bathroom. He tugged off his socks and his boxers and climbed into the shower, running the water and shaking his head, his brown hair falling into his face. He closes his eyes, rising a hand to fiddle with his two ear piercings, oh god was he a stupid teenager. He frowned and washed his hair and body before climbing out of the shower and grabbing his shaving cream. He spread the substance over his face, shaving it boredly. He finished up and walked out of the bathroom to grab some clothing; jeans, a black shirt and his doctor coat. He pulled on his shoes and walked out of his house after grabbing his keys. He slid into his mustang and turned on the engine, driving to work impatiently.

Emily spent most of her day in the hospital doing tests. She knew none of these doctors knew what was wrong with her and it upset her so much. She got herself a soda from the vending machine and sat in the waiting area impatiently. She watched many other people who were worse than her go on like they had no care in the world. Some of them were the happiest in the world despite their conditions.

When it was almost ten, she got some breakfeast. "Whaaaaat?" She muttered, hearing the phone ring, as she made her way to it, answering. "Hello-o?" "Hola!" Her friend Maddy was calling. "What is it?" "Umm... I got really sick, and I need you to go work at 12:00. And, then all the way to 12:00." "Oi... Okay." "Kay, see you then!" "Bye." She hung up, and began to eat some cereal.

err.. not so sure i can really say anything yet... and sock i accidentally hit the like button on your comment don't let it get to your head.)) She worked in the back for as long as she possibbly could trying to keep from having to work out front with the register. When she dis things often went south not business wise but her self confidence or what little she had left. She looked arround the greenhouse trying to figure out where she should work next. (can some try and start a interaction with her it's a bit sifficult going about like this .)

Drake sighed lazily, lumbering into his office, he flicked his golden eyes down to a paper left on his desk, his eyebrow rose, seeing Emily's file. He sighed, traveling quietly into the room where Emily was held, he cracked a smile "Hey, I'm Dr.Johnson, nice ta meet cha."

Emily looked up after tapping her can of soda and placing it on the counter. She stood up and looked at Dr. Johnson and nodded. "Oh, hello. I'm Emily, nice to meet you too." she said. This was a new doctor to her so she guessed her old doctor couldn't do much to help her. She held her hand out for him to shake.

Drake shook her hand gingerly before clearing his throat. "So, what seems to be the issue?" He asked calmly. He rested down in the stool that sat in the corner, his hands resting in his lap, his fingers lacing together.

She sat down calmly and cleared her throat as she began to explain to him. "Lately I've been feeling like my legs give out on me for no reason. The first time it happened I was just walking and I just fell...and I remember not even trying to stop myself from falling. And it's happened since then...I will be fine and then just suddenly fall or stumble a bit." She said

Drakes eyebrows furrowed and a frown cast over his face Spinocerebellar Degeneration? No. He cringed and sighed, "We'll run some tests." He gave her a warm smile before he walked over, grabbing a needle and a small container, he connected it together and walked over, motioning for her arm.

She walked over and handed her arm. She was already doubtful this doctor could even figure out what was wrong. She's had her blood tested many times and nothing's come up and some doctors even said there was nothing that they could do.

Drake chewed on his lower lip, he carefully tied a piece of cloth around her upper-arm before tapping the needle and carefully sliding it into her arm, he drew a moderate amount of blood before sliding the needle out and placing a cotton ball over her small prick. He wandered out of the office, running tests for Spinocerebellar Degeneration

Emily sighed as she grabbed her can of soda and continued to drink it. She stared out of the window watching everyone live their lives. She waited and waited for the doctor to come back and tell her that yet again there was nothing they could do or even had a hint of it.

Drake came in a few moments, he sat down next to her "Emily, I think that you have Spinocerebellar Degeneration, do you know what that is?" He spoke calmly, although he hated seeing his patients diagnosed with terrible things. A frown plastered over his face and he ran a hand through his hair.

"We're running tests right now." He said calmly, chewing on his lower lip, "Don't worry, we'll have a diagnosis by the end of today."

Drake clenched his jaw "Yeah." He was beginning to grow irritated at this girls attitude, he was trying to help her, god damnit. No f*cking respect. He just stood and walked out, closing the door a bit harder then needed behind him.
