This site looks pretty amazing. A friend told me about it and then I thought I'd join. My name is Ember but you can call me Em if you'd like. I really don't mind. I look forward to meeting new friends and Roleplaying!

Welcome to RpNation Em!

Everyone here is awesome and friendly so you'll feel right at home! :)

If you need any help, roleplaying or the website, don't hesitate to shoot me a pm!

Welcome, Em! I'll second what Akihito said: I think you'll find everyone is friendly here. I hope you'll make yourself at home and if you need any help, just reach out.

Welcome again to RpN!

Great! I actually do need help. I'm trying to create a character for an RP but when I try to post it says my posts must more than two and I need to be registered for more than three days. I keep getting that error message. It's been three days and I'm really confused. Any help is greatly appreciated.

welcome to RPN, we hope you enjoy it here
if it's only been four days, timezones might me messing with you.

You joined yesterday ember.

Also I gave you the resolution steps in our PM as well as this post: http://rpnation.com/index.php?threads/new-user-cant-post.17258/#post-625501

Simply download the photo you are trying to use & upload it to our site by dragging & dropping the image to the text area. This will bypass the external link issue.

What do you mean download the photo I'm trying to use? I'm very confused. I know you PMed me but I didn't see how they could resolve the issue.

In the future, reply back & tell me you don't understand. Who would better understand the system than the person who created it?

Allow me to explain further.

I assume you are copying a link from the internet to use as an image.

You are attempting to use the code to embed the image.

The way our system works is you can NOT post ANY links for 24 hours to prevent spamming bots from posting links like drugs, explicit content, etc.

In order for YOU to circumnavigate this linking issue, you can simply upload the image to our site. This is not seen as a "link" but as an "attachment". This issue will resolve itself however within the next 2 or so hours as at that point you would have been a member for over 24 hours.
